Two more books cried like little girls named DickyW last week and suspended my account, so I need a new book to run into the ground.
Anyone have any comments on the V-Wagers guys?

They seem to have a handsome selection of lines.

Thanks.

Sounds good General. I asked around and nobody had anything bad to say, so I'll assume no news is good news.

They should love me, 10 seconds after I laid my bet it steamed in my favor

You get 1 free withdrawal per month of neteller AND 1 free withdrawal per month of prepaid ATM. After that they charge really high fees ($100 fee for a $2500 withdrawal). The only other annoyance is that they have a pop up window come up advertising their online casino every time you confirm a wager.

They have a good reputation and are pretty tolerant but will eventually cut your limits if you win too much.

Jackie O,
I won't let you book my action until you get a job so you could actually pay me when I win.

And - of course, nobody would kick out a $50 bettor, so I think you just answered your own assinine question

The contest - well, I didn't mean to quit. The DDOS attacks messed it up for me and I missed the last entry date, but that didn't matter - I had a firm grip on last place.

Revere,
That was exactly the info I was looking for. Thank you sir.

I don't mind books that limit winners, in fact I think it shows a sense of responsibility on the book's behalf.

Besides it won't be the first time

VIP - $50 limits
WSSB - booted.
BetEuro - booted.
WagerStreet $20- limits.
SIA - booted.
Gameday - booted.
Bet19 - $150 limits.
FairDeal booted.
SPinner - $100 limits.

ps - I installed the latest version of the Google Toolbar and it has a decent popup blocker. I highly recommend it.

They are alright. Bad MLs, though and ridiculous fees for second withdrawal. But they seem solid and have paid me alright.

Also, you have to call in for a withdrawal, otherwise it make take a few days when you put a request thru Neteller.

More importantly I don't like their bonus program, 'cause it looks like the transfer fees are booked by them as a bonus with ridiculous rules. Deposit $500, pay $20 transfer fees (credited back in this case), play some, try to withdraw all $1000 you have accumulated and you may be charged your initial $20 for deposit plus $40 for withdrawal if you did not "actively wagered for 30 days". Maybe asking upfront to not be awarded a 10% bonus should help to at least avoid these transfer fees... But again, they credit the 10% automatically on every deposit, LOL.

Lander,
Why are you playing into those recreational shops?

I'm assuming you know about about Pinnacle, Olympic, Grande, Heritage, Hollywood, CRIS...yes?? No way any of those books have a better line than Pinnacle. But if 6 is too few you could add BetJamaica, BetPanAm, Cascade, WSEX and now you are up to 10 books that will welcome you with open arms.

I can understand how a non-internet savy sharp can wonder into a recreational shop by accident. Unless you're a bonus whore, why play outside of the big 6 that will welcome your business with open arms? Why do sharps insist on playing into books who don't want their action and avoid books that welcome them with open arms?

Buzz,
Surely you already know the answers - as they quite simple.

"Why are you playing into those recreational shops?

I already play at Pin, Oly, Holly & CRIS. I also played at Grande for a bit, but found their vanilla lines of little value.

Now, regarding your question - I play there simply because I can afford to. The more shops one has to shop from the bigger his advantage becomes and the more profitable (or less unprofitable) he will become. I'm actually a bit surprised that a Kingpin in this industy - ie, a watchdog like you, isn't more keen on the value of shopping

V-Wager has a handsome selection of Props which, IMO, makes them very valuable because, as surely you must also know, Props are generally the softest numbers out there. Now, Buzz, unless you're running a sheet - I really can't understand what you have against people actually beating a book

VWager has a 10% bonus, so I don't see where your 'bonus whore' accusation comes in. I didn't play at your recommended Gamblers Ave and their bonus friendly site, nor do I play at BHB and their bonus happy site. Ask ANY book that I've played with if I'm a bonus whore and you'll get the same answer - NO. By all means - call Ted at Blue Grass - I'll even reimburse BG the $0.38 it takes for them to laugh at you and say 'NO'.

Really, your post irritates me. First off - it's completely false, and second off I'd expect you to spend your time more constructively so that you can manufacture better warnings about troubled books than 'a mid-size book will fall' ....

Remember?? That was the mid-size book that turned out to be BlueMarlin - the one Dru from Cascade confirmed to be a tiny shop with 3 people.

OK, kind of a long answer to a simple question.

Basically, even though you have funded accounts at:
WWTS
Pinnacle
Grande
WSEX
CRIS
BetPanAm
BetJamaica
Cascade
Heritage
Hollywood

...you still need to go where you know you are not wanted to make a profit.

I'm not picking on you but I see this everyday. It's obvious it's more that just finding the right line.

Most true professional players wouldn't dream of straying into a second tier book or a square book. But their expertise is in capping & information, not bonuses. I know its more glamourous to be a so-called 'sharp line shopper' but the truth is its just a play for the bonus.

Buzz,
Call Ted - ask him about me 'bonus whoring' and
prompty post the conversation for the forum to see that you are a liar.

Put up or shut up.

Is it realllllllllllllly that difficult for you to understand that shopping for that extra hook will save gamblers thousands or dollars per year?

Lander, Buzz wouldn't understand because he doesn't gamble. He spends most of the day reaching into his box of ALPHABETS cereal trying to decide what grade to give a book.

"Oh look I pulled out a "D", can't use it on ONLINEBET so better throw it back in and pull out another letter."

Buzzsaw, you don`t play at SIA for the bonus?
Its like........ $100-200 max.
Big whoop.

You play because of their lines.
Every sharp guy I know has played and been booted from SIA for winning too much.
Do you think those shops Lander has been booted from care about the bonus?
If so they would just say "no more bonus for you"
Why would they cut the limits or boot?
Its winning or the potential to win they are scared of not bonuses.

Lander, maybe because you mentioned some of the VIP based books you hit a sore nerve with Buzzsaw
