Just wondering if you all seem to have the same experiences as I do or at least can relate. This is one of my dead serious posts and I'm looking to start a dialogue which I hope can be of some help to I suspect many of us.

It seems [no, it's clear] that regardless of losing streaks or winning streaks, I generally at any given time have several books where my balance grows and I hit say even 80% for a while. At the same time, out of my usual 7 or 8, I seem to have one or two heading staight for tap out city no matter what I do. When I get real low in those I start to make very small wagers but usually I can't seem to save them. Maybe this is a wrong strategy?

Conversely, in the ones where for no logical reason the balances show a continual and steady climb, I feel as if were I to mess with them by paying myself something, I'll kill the luck. That has happened on several occasions. A few of those books after a payout were never the same again. Remember I played advanced ball and have superstitions deep up the wazoo.

Pure logic says stay in, keep playing without a withdrawal and eventually lose. Heart says I'm on a roll don't touch it. Mrs. Jones says "idiot pay yourself".

If not for her, I probably would seldom see any money at all cause I have exacting ledgers with up to the minute balance records and totals and I'm afraid I like to look at those continuosly as well as and my balances on the screen and seem to get mesmerized by the pretty colors and homescreens of the books and maybe begin to see them as bank accounts, thereby maybe no longer seeing dollars but only numerical symbols representing them, even though from experience I know I delude myself and I certainly know better.

This is further compounded by thankfully not actually needing the money that bad. Seemingly it goes to neteller if anywhere and then to another out but seldom to my bank account.

I've overcome the chasing long ago. Don't bet exotics, and never more than 2% straight wagers. Don't give a hoot about bonuses. I have evolved successfully in those areas and on paper show at least a steady small profit.

But in my wallet, I would say I don't do as well. I'm seriouly asking you guys for a few tips you might have to help me overcome what I see as my last hurdle.

Never had the pleasure to bet in Vegas, so I don't know the feeling of cash in hand after every win. I am winning, yet seemingly falling victim to what I an beginning to see as an insidious egde that the offshore industry has.

This is one post I hope will elicit some responses. Thanks guys and as always good luck.

Lose this logic pronto!! Think of yourself as unbeatable(and forget being modest).

Mr Jones,

I can relate with your thoughts and alot of what you posted fits me as well. I do not have any good answers here. Its like we can determine the direction we are going with certain books the minute the money is sent.
