SUNDAY BLUE MARLIN UPDATE....

I try and drop a line every day out here so that people can keep an eye on it if interested. First I still can use another book or so, nobody has to know a word but you and the player! You guys wonder why I ask everyday but almost each day another one come's forward. Just getting one more done doesn't sound like much unless you are the one that got helped that day. Yesterday I approached a book after the player gave me the idea and I really thought we had no chance on this one. In fact when I sent the IM hey can I ask you a question, his answer back was NO before I even asked it. LOL. I guess he knew what I wanted. It ends up though I only asked for help with that one player and they did it! I would suspect they knew it was a losing proposition but felt the player was the real thing and did not want to leave him with a bad impression of the off-shore business. I won't mention them unless they give me permission but it is a quality book by anyone's standards. Yes I have some undesirables (as one player called himself yesterday) who didn't get helped yet but I also have some quality players any book would be happy to have. Don't dismiss the idea based on you think all that is left is bonus whores, wiseguys and others that books don't want any part of. I have some that it is in all our best interests that we assist if possible. Some guys just came late to this process and didn't even know of these forums. Anyway no offense to the wiseguys, I am trying for everyone but most of you realize it's harder to place you guys than the rest. A guy with a balance of $73,000 is harder to place than a guy with $730. Late this afternoon I will be sending out a copy of everything I have left to the guys who have not been assisted. Look it over and let me know. I am waiting to hear back from a few books and want to beg a little more throughout the day before I make this mail-out. I won't lie, it's getting to be slim pickings but everyday we have gotten a surpise, maybe if the books have a big week-end more will come forward!

The last thing is I have seen my name mentioned by several players for my efforts lately and that's not accurate. I can't lie and say it doesn't feel nice to hear it but I am not the one who deserves the credit. The truth is the books deserve 99% of the credit. If they don't help us there can be 4000 guys offering to help the players but what good is it. Also let's be clear the bail-out is a part of the whole RX team here, not Patrick McIrish. Not being modest or a team player here, it's the truth. From the top on down. The owners have never bitched or moaned about me taking time to assist players, not ONCE ever! Not in this circumstance have they ever wondered where I was or what I was doing and it has taken quite a bit of time. In addition all the mods have taken part in this. I have been asked every single day if they can help in any way with this. Can I do anything to assist you Patrick? Besides when I am off doing this they pick up the slack in the forums and cover for me without ever a complaint. I am happy to be here and part of this team we have here, that's just what it is a team. We all feel bad when the RX does poorly on something and we all feel good anytime we assist a player. All of us. I am as proud of our free line service as anyone yet didn't have one thing to do with it. Anyway to all the players for any part we had, you are most welcome. Get in there and win your money back! We still got work to do around here.

I know some books would like to remain private
becuase they think if they go public they'll be
asked to why did you bail out player X and not player Y or whatever but I have a thought.....

When this is over and hopefully PAtrick can get everybody atleast something you should list each book that helped with their permission ofcourse ---it need not be known how much each book chiped in but i think many of the players bailed out would show the thanks by posting up at some of the other bailout books ..... I personally feel better having my $ in a place that is in a good enoogh financial shape to help out stiffed players I'm sure others would feel the same way.

Awesome - yes exactly. Some books don't want to look like they are playing favoritism nor do they want 500 gamblers calling asking them for assistance. Can't blame them so they are being lowkey in all this. At the end when everything is settled I hope they will be okay with it being known what they did but it is up to them. If they don't I will have to honor the agreement I have in place with them about remaining silent. With some players getting helped I wouldn't be surprised if it leaked out one day but it won't be me. Thanks Awesome.


All players who have an agreement need to touch base with the book as soon as they can. That way they can start clearing this stuff up. Also all the players who are not taken care of will get a note tonight (prior to tomorrow morning) on what we have left. Again even in these situations the book has the right to refuse you. In most of them they want to help out but are only taking about 5 players, please don't yell at me or the book if they don't accept you. I am giving it all day today as I have some notes out to people trying to get a couple more books to assist. With just two or three more it would help a great deal. Anyway back tomorrow we will dive in full force again with who's left.

I personally would like to thank Pat, the RX and the books. This is the type of team work we need.

i'm wasn't involved w/ BM, but this is a outstanding example of exceeding expectations on the part of thr RX..........proud to be a member of a site that actually takes a proactive, constructive approach to problems on behalf of ALL players............tx again guys (and angelle )..........
