I will not pay for Gameplan. In Las Vegas we get a steady dose of West Coast games as ABC
refuses to show any games featuring Oklahoma.
When USC is beating UCLA 42-2 isn't it time to
switch to another game that ABC is showing to
a different part of the country. Do they think
that USC fans will stay with a blowout. Also the majority of people in Vegas watching football have a bet on the game. Why not have a
number you can call where the fans pick what game is shown locally. They use to do this in the NFL cities that weren't part of local market. ABC is not bound by any league regulations as to what college game they can show in area of the country. It's all about selling their PPV package.

It isn't the NFL, they rarely switch over to another game and usually when it is finished. The key is not the ratings, but the contract. They sign contracts with the league, not the NCAA and because of that they are required to basically cover only the local conference as determined by geography. Yes it is stupid and I am sure even the ABC people would love to show another game at that point, but contracts are what they are.
