Who do you think would make good 'marriages of convenience' candidates, merge or consolidate over the next 6 months, and why?

Joey,
You do a great job of starting these rumor *****ring type threads, and the just slither off back to your hole as the s**t starts to fly.

If you are such an insider, why not share some of your insight instead of inviting more rumors.

Ball Buster:

Mergers / consolidations between healthy companies can be a normal and good good thing.

If Ladbrooks bought Wm Will or Oly for example, to move in a business model they may have, would that be so bad?

I don't think it's a big secret that rising costs and increased competition are digging into books bottom lines, and these factors won't go away anytime soon.

Ball Buster, do care to respond?

IMHO, i think joey c is a 100% right.... in many respects this industry is like any other... for all the reasons he states, the life cycle is at a point where your going to see numerous megers/acquisitions, consolidations and failures. After darwin has his day, i think you'll see fewer but stronger players and an overall stabilization.

I always mess this up, but I think it started as 3 seperate branches.

Gameday managed Bet19

Vip managed WSSB, Spinner, Sunny

FiveCardCharlie managed Fairdeal

--------------------------------
Somewhere along the way VIP bought Spinner, Gameday bought Bet19, FCC aquired FD, VIP aquired Gameday and inheritentlly Bet19, VIP manages FCC and inheritentlly FD, Sunny defects to bet365. VIP starts managing BetonGAmes.

Either you have a sqaure base that can pay the bills or you don't and why anyone that does would want to share with anyone that doesn't is a great mystery to me.

JOEY C./BALL BUSTER...........

i think i know where BallBuster is coming from on this......

this particular thread...imo is a legitimate question with no "undertones".......

but in the past some of Joey's threads on offshore books have....imo been more vague with "undertones" that start RUMORS instead of posting facts.......imo Joey's has started threads that sound like he knows what the answers are.........he just wants to see what the threads stir up..........imo

Ball Buster is a fake, maybe a office clerk.

He called me out the other day, but so far has refused to send his name, e addy or phone # to Shrink.

Ball Buster knows what I'm talking about.

Put up or shut up Ball Buster.....

Joey C these are very good questions.

Ignore that little Ball character.

Some of the big UK shops merging/buying some of the big Caribbean shops would be a productive marriage that this whole industry would benefit from. And I agree that would be a GOOD thing
