In this regard, I would seriously like to invite any poster or moderator to suggest any topic that he/she thinks would make a good topic for a story. Keep in mind, research needs to be available to write any story!

Thanks, Charlie

Charlie,

Research and write a story on the new owner of the RX.

BTW, I am already doing my own research. What I am discovering is not good. More to come.

Sadly I think truthteller is right.

They have been lying to us supporting this book. Now that the sh*t is hitting the fan, they have not a word to say.

There are no games going right now, any other night you would get a response within 5 minutes. They are nowhere to be found tonight while their posters have to wonder if they are about to get f*cked in the ass again. It may not seem like a lot of money to some folks, but to others it is.

And please spare me the "play at Olympic or Pinnacle BS". That wasnt what you were saying last week. No you were saying MW is full of shit and GA is a great book.

Truthteller - I would be glad to accept your researched article and put it on the home page (as long as your research and quotes can be verified).

Also, being part of a team means just that. Ballplayers can't be critical of their owners and expect to stay on the team for long. Unless there is PROOF that the owner did something wrong!

Innocent until PROVEN guilty.

If your boss was NOT found guilty of any wrongdoing, would you QUIT your job and put your family in jeopardy?

Charlie, exactly, innocent until proven guilty. I was just responding to your request for topics.

If you are a fair and balanced reporter you wouldn't have any qualms about doing research on your new boss and reporting back to the players. Or are you afraid what you might dig up?

Truth - Not at all, but it sounds like you are well into YOUR research, so go for it. We all will be looking forward to your fair and impartial article on the truth about the new owner of the RX. Don't forget to get quotes and facts that can be verified.

I have told Ken and Marty today I think Wild Bill's articles are a HUGE asset to the site.

in spite of what some here might say, I miss Linda Collins' writing.

But then, I don't miss the 'musings' of Sting, so maybe it evens out.

Stephen Nover does a good job.
The rest seems to be a rotating bullpen of sorts. I can't keep them straight and I don't read them all unless the topic is of interest. Overall I'd rate it a B+.

stories are pretty good. I think the people are so addicted to these National Inquirer forums that they forget to read some of the quality stories that appear on the main page.

One of the writer has been cold calling me. Trying to sell me picks. That was awesome!

I am supposed to talk to Ken and Marty soon. Maybe there is some interest in writing an article, but I accept the fact that no matter what on a "sore" subject like this what I or Nover or Charlie write will just be seen as biased propaganda by those that are opposed for whatever reason against Marty. I personally am not taking sides in this one, but I have to say I find it strange that a handful of people are in such an uproar over a new owner for a site like this. Bottom line is this isn't a book, it doesn't hold your money. If you don't trust Marty and don't think his ownership is a good thing here then why do you stick around? I think it just points out the old secret of many industries, those that hate you spend more time patronizing you in some way than those that have no opinion or even a good opinion about you. Wasn't it the Howard Stern movie where they talked about how those that hated Howard listened twice as long as anyone just to see what would happen? I am sure Marty would love for you to do just that
