I was sort of surprised to see this. I am referring to the line for the SECOND QUARTER only, in tonight's game.

PINNACLE
Miami -.5 (-126)
BG +.5 (+110)

BODOG
Miami -3 (-105)
BG +3 (-115)

Is this a good middle opportunity? It seems like a large window for just a quarter score.

I'm still looking at this one. A tie score in teh 2nd and you win BOTH. You only risk the vig on one of the bets.

Am I missing something?

No a tie score will not win you both.

I think you are paying way to much juice to make this worth it.

A bit tired I guess. So Miami would have to win by between 1 and 3 to win money.

Yeah, that sounds a bit more unlikely than my first scenario. Thanks. I am still surprised to see the big line difference though.

You would have a much greater likelihood of hitting the middle if it was for the entire game.

The fact that it is for the second Quarter only actually makes it less likely because you need numerous scores.

Sure, you could hit on Miami 3-0 where you get a win and a puch, but the 7-6 0r 14-12 isnt very likely.

It would be more likely to get something like 34-32 for the whole game or 24-23, etc.

Danny's right - too much juice is the key here for the margin you need ... if you saw that at say +3 -110 and -.5 -105, I'd jump it
