I heard from my Local, an agent with several CR Books, that GA was hurting for cash in the 2nd week of the NFL.

I contacted Ken & McIrish about this...

They said they would look into it and keep on the lookout. I AM NOT BLAMING KEN OR PAT. But I should've posted the info when I heard it and let the chips fall where they may.

I did not post it because I never could get a 2nd verification and I felt like Fredd would do all that was humanly possible (I still believe he would/did) to right the ship.

That is true from what I remember as well. Frank (Willie Cicci) said he heard from a source there was problems or could be problems with GA. I immediately asked him to try and put us in touch with the source, even offered to do a 3 way with us all. After this went on I BELIEVE Frank and Ken did speak about it more, I even asked later if he followed up as I was working mostly the graveyard shift at the time. I was told he did, maybe even the source got involved though I don't recall for sure. After further review I was told they felt it was not sound enough to post at that time. I did what I always do, make damn sure Shrink is aware of it and if the source wants to discuss it make it so they can get together.

The flip side of this in the RX's defense is we have heard stuff about probably every single book we have. Seriously. Ask Russ and I would bet he has heard stuff about every advertiser he has as well. It's tough because you have got to substantiate things and have someone come forward with more than "we hear things are bad". If we did that we wouldn't have a book up top. In fact when we took Royal down we got criticized for having an agenda there and was told they probably weren't gong to renew is the real reason we took them down. Not because we were worried about the players. EWinner is much the same. In that situation we had a contact DEEPLY involved with their finances and banking willing to tell us stuff that no one else could know. It was impossible for us to just ignore so we took action. When the RX decided to act in that case we still to this day are getting criticized about taking them down. who knows in these cases what is right and/or wrong? Tough to win but yes obviously anytime a book goes down you wish things had went down differently.

By the way at any time Frank could have posted to this forum as well his concerns. He was not banned nowhere near the time this went down. The RX like MW and anyone else will take their punishment but let's not fool ourselves, why would Frank not post to it then? He has busted our balls a million times out here so you have to ask yourself why on an issue like this wouldn't he have posted to it if he felt strongly? That's why when he spoke with Ken and they felt it was okay then I too let the issue drop. As I say, tough business but it is the one we have chosen.

Anytime someone posts the truth here that affects the Rx or one its current advertisers there are a million new accounts ready to personally attack the poster. I agree 100% now is not the time for the blame game, lets do what we can for the players. I was just substantiating what you said since you posted to it. There is no question about it, when you are right you are right in my book. Sucks that the players get the shaft as usual.

What makes it tough for these sites is the people who have the most incentive to hide their negative information are the best at disguising it. Even when someone knows something and they come to the forum then people call them out for not giving up their source. Most people won't do that. Not your fault Frank, not even close. Had you posted it people may have gotten mad at you for doing that. Tough business.

Another been in business for 2 years and "we're solid as a rock" shop.

This won't be the first or last joint to close offshore this year.
