Update on Gamblersavenue

I have a large 5 digit amount in there. Can anyone update me on whats happening?
Can you login.
Is the book out of funds.
Is it being sold?
Will Royal step in?
On what terms.
I have read the other threads but some information that is shared by some people here seems to be missing...

The update is they have been lying and are broke and are now running for help. Just like Lance and MarkDel did. They keep running and running until they leave the country.

One of the big risks with the 10x or 20x rollovers on the big bonuses, is that the account balance can get uncomfortably high before the rollovers are completed ... especially if the scalping out backfires - just ask UK2000.

I am not a scammer. I usually dont have large (or small) amounts in small books, but I was led to believe in GA. Hopefully a solution will come up one way or the other.

GA has always been most generous to all of our posters and FRDDIE has always been someone I have admired...

I am in the same boat as you (but only $6k). I was lead to believe in this book principally by the positive posts at the Rx.. I checked out their website and took a preview of the livelines on their website. I saw a dime line for baseball and plenty of sports to wager on so I thought I could easy give them the action (5x rollover) so I sent them $5k.

After posting the funds to Gamblers Avenue and logging in for the first time there I was shocked to see the baseball lines were twenty cents and half the sports were not available. I phoned Freddy who said they never claimed the live lines were those of Gamblers Avenue. I asked for my funds back and to forefit my bonus but he refused (calling me a bullshi**er in the process) and said I had to play out the $30k (6xrollover).

I know ultimately the responsibility of where I send my funds is mine and mine alone but I do feel that I was lead up the garden path by the Rx. on this one. I noticed after my altercation with Freddy that every time someone made a negative post about Gamblers Avenue on the Rx. it was swamped by a series of posts promoting the book.

I am now fearing the worst.

The more a book contributes to a forum the farther I stay away from them. Mark Del of Camelot, Bill from NAB and now Gamblers Avenue.

I feel that to be even handed I should also point out that I had made a couple of plays by this time and my account was showing a slight profit at this point. If pushed, however, I was willing to forfeit the profit if it became a condition of me being allowed to withdraw my funds but the discussion never got to that stage.

I have no personal problem with Freddy and I can now see he was just fighting his corner and wanted to make sure his book got the action as it was by then beginning to struggle according to another post I read which said they were strapped by the second week of football.
