I use Tradesports all the time...excellent on US sports, good money either side of the proposition too....site is complicated, but worth the online Demo to get a feel of what to do...

I use Betfair all the time and to be honest it really depends on what you bet on:

1 - Horse racing - fantastic volumes and very low vig (1-2%) on win market. Much better than track odds - 20% better!
2 - US Sports - great value on the day of the game especially NFL eg: New England -101 +2.5, denver -100 -2.5 - less than 1% vig
3 - Soccer, Rugby, tennis, cricket, Golf - absolutely amazing value and huge volumes.

Weakness i would say is early lines for NFL are weak and horse special bets - place, show, exactas are weak or not offered. Also speciality bets for US sports isn't that hot - but hey who stops anyone from anyone using other books for those bets. .

Betfair is simply a must have book. Tradesports has the advantage of being open to US customers, Betfair only open to canadians at present but it just hasn't got the volumes of Betfair - maybe a 50th the size of Betfair!

agree with valueman to a degree, use Betfair loads...
but Tradesports at least has the MASSIVE advantage of allowing you to trade in and out of a position on an event...dont think betfair can match that, in fact dont think anyone can?
so basically you can take the profit at anytime with your bet and make sure you get the best prices...

Definitely not as big, not got the same volumes, but easy enough to open an account and open to USA bettors as they arent a sportsbook and charge a low commission on the contracts you buy...
anyway not here to preach for those Guys...maybe someone from Tradesports should tell us why we should use them?

maybe they should send me some cash for promoting them!?

anybody betting on the World Cup in Rugby? got some killer prices on both these exchanges for The wales game against New Zealand...
To you US members its the REAL mans game (carrying a ball and getting hit without BODY ARMOUR!!!)

Cakesparky - you can trade in and out on Betfair too and because it has the volume you can do it at better odds. Yes, Betfair does have 2-5% commision on net winnings but i'd rather bet at 0-1% juice and pay commission on winnings that for me works out at 2 -3% juice or worst case scenario 3-4% juice and have huge volumes than back at Tradesports where trading in and out is harder because the contracts aren't there most of the time - it's all well and good being able to trade out hypothetically but Betfair is the only place where you can ACTUALLY do it.

all I'm saying is both are pretty good...but I've never found any shortage of volumes on all mainstream USA sports...

anyway...as they say "I'm Buggin out of here" ...gottam find me some mugs to take a few bucks off....
