I don't complain to much because there's usually not much reason to. Something I find funny is that 5 dimes opened a fight before EVERYONE yesterday. That had it something like this....

Corey Sander -125
Elicier Castillo +105

on boxing they take $500 bets usually before moving them. Being that they were the only book that had this fight they made the limit $250

I bet the fight before I went to bed

When I woke up today the line was .....

Castillo -150
Sanders +125

I bet on Castillo (250) and they move the line up 35 cents. What a bunch of shit

I guess it's not as easy to make a line when you aren;t copying from others
icon_mad.gif
I think it's pretty shitty that they reduced there limit because they had no confidence in there line. I find it pathetic. Anyways, I am mostly just venting

Val,

From fellow Georgia resident, on an obscure fight such as this, the fact that they are moving the line like this is probably a testament to your boxing wagering skills.

BTW, 5 Dimes is solid IMO so they're just making sound business practice on their behalf.

Sorry it reduces your payoff.

5 dimes isn;t a bad book, they are pretty good. As Lander mentioned though, they are pussies

I just don;t like how they made a limit on a fight that only they had (at the time)because they were pussies. I'll probably lose now that I am complaining about it.

BTW- There line sucked ass. Castillo should have started at -200 (at least). He started at -240 at thegreek(today). That's the main reason I guess I was pissed, they had a crap line that I couldn;t hammer to much

Val,

For serious, there are probably only two other psoters on this forum that can understand the lines on this boxing match that you do.

I try to follow boxing myself but I don't even know whon castillo is, although i did see sandersw kncok out klitcshko.

Good luck on castillo and if he wins, trust me, I'll be following you more closely.

when I lived in Vegas I used to bet dimes on college basketball, A lot of times I bet at a joint called Palace Station, its still there. Anyway, I bet say Wake Forest -3 for a dime, immediately a clerk would drag a ladder over infront of where that game was posted on the wall, and move Wake to -4, all off my lousy dime. I did it lots of times, used to show off some times with girls. The funny part is that I was'nt sharp or even known to anyone in the book, it was just the money that moved the number.

wil.

I know that you and I spoke about this a LOT. The thing is, 5 dimes spelled his name correctly so I think they got the right guy (after I thought about it). Also, if it was Corrie Sanders (the guy that smashed Wlad), I think he would have been a HUGE favorite over Castillo. Castillo is nothing special and could very well get knocked out, I would make him a pretty big underdo to Corrie Sanders though. I think they just don;t know what the hell they are doing. I hope they don;t try pulling that bad line shit afterwards, sice they spelled the name right they got the right guy.

Val as a boxing bettor,

trust me we are better off when these guys post about crap they know little about,

even if we can only get down for a couple of bucks.

just my opinion.

Yeah, my $500 win was better than nothing. I wanted to put $1500 on Castillo though.

Thanks for the compliment, been kind of inconsistent lately but I do OK.

As for Sanders, jeesh, 310 pounds. Sanders has been a fat ass for a while though. Castillo's weight kind of worried me when I saw it for 1 reason. Castillo weighed 208 against Cley Bey, he weighed 224 for this fight. Regardless, he is a way better boxer than Sanders. Can't wait for tomorrow night's fights
