BETFLAMINGO PEOPLE ARE THIEVES!!!

Please be aware of this. I have a case with a player I am working on but feel I need to make other players aware of this. Once the siutation is taken care of I will let the forums know. Mnay times we get cases that are handled quietly if it looks like the book has a reasonable excuse and they pay the player. Many more than posters realize. However when I start getting the feeling the players money could be in jeopardy I have to make a tough call. I want to err on the side of player safety but still do all I can to get this man paid.

I encourage other forums to make note of this in order to save anyone from sending this book any money. They are out and out refusing to pay a player his money they admit he owes. It's one excuse after another. BETFLAMINGO is slow paying customers, will be following this one with updates right through the end......

I can't predict the future on whether or not this is a long term situation at BETFLAMINGO or just a small bump in the road. I can however pass on to you the reasons I am comng forward with this. A player lets us know he has asked for a Netteller almost 4 weeks ago and then asked for a check as well. Neither was ever sent. Was not an issue about a bonus, a referral, a scammer or anything else this was just a book who was not paying. On that pretext I made contact with the book. My first e-mails were never returned. Finally I raised a girl on the phone and she advised that "Bruno" was sick from having an operation. I won't comment on this as I do not believe in making fun of anyone who may be sick but it's incredible how many sick people work in the pay out departments of off shore books! This is a common "reason" for not paying. I ask that Bruno call me ASAP. I hear nothing so call back two days later. Now I am getting very worried as the girl who I am talking to says "players call me all the time for their money but I do not know what to tell them". She too also says Bruno is sick. Upon me asking who else does pay outs she tells me only that I have to talk to Bruno.

I go back and forth with the girls for that day and the next. Calling one of them early in the day, checking back with the other one later that night. They never let me speak to anyone else nor does anyone ever call me back or answer an e-mail. I have to say both girls were very polite and I could tell they felt very uncomfortable. Still in all of this I am keeping the client informed but I know I can't keep this quiet much longer. Though I only have this a few days I can tell when a book is not interested in trying to resolve an issue. Finally Bruno writes me. Of course it is full or "reasons" he hasn't paid. The player has already won money from his initial $2500 deposit (don't ask me why this means a book can stiff someone), Bruno tells me how sick he is and of course HE IS THE ONLY ONE WHO CAN DO PLAYER PAYOUTS. He goes on to say it's funny to him how when he pays the players no one says good things about him but when he doesn't pay forums talk poorly of him? He also mentions that he takes offense on the fact I "threatened" to inform the forums of this and that is was "only 3 players he hadn't paid". I ask him how a book honestly tells people they only have one person who does pay outs and that man is too sick to process them? Bruno in another e-mail goes on to say his clerks were paying out multiple winners and scamming him so he has to take care of everything himself. Once he decides it is taken care of he will pay the players when he is ready, be it tomorrow, two days from now or two months from now.

Folks this was a tough call. Once at TOP we posted about a book and the player was VERY angry with me for doing it but I had to let people know what is going on. The player in this case is a friend of a friend of mine, hated to let him know I must come to the forums with it. As I said if a book has a legit excuse and wants to take care of it that is what we are after, getting the player his money. Anyway wanted to give readers a little information into what is going on with this book. Normally I give a book a longer window of opportunity but I could tell Bruno isn't worried about ever paying this man his money. If he is sick and recovering I genuinely feel bad for him and wish him the best but players have a right to know there is no one at BETFLAMINGO who can do a pay-out. Plenty will take your money but no one can send it back to you. I think it's a safe decision to stay clear of BETFLAMINGO until further notice but each person can make their own call on the matter.

Beaner - to his credit the player did not ask me to not report this. I personally feel bad when we don't get a player his money before I go this route but if this book went down a month from now and another 50 people sent them their money I'd really feel guilty. Not sure how others handle it but when I feel there is reason to worry I am coming to the forums with it, could be my Grandmothers money I am trying to get back. Many cases we handle discreetly, a book may have been auditing the players account or several other legit reasons but once a book basically admits they aren't paying nor do they even care to give us a date when the player might expect to get paid I am not sitting on it. The guy is sick for the last month and he is the ONLY guy at BETFLAMINGO who does pay outs? Even if true the players need to know this. In addition I have noticed a couple days the site wasn't even working at times though it usually comes back on line later.

On a side note sometimes it actually helps in these situations and seldom hurts a player. If this book was contingent on future post ups to pay this guy then yes I will GLADLY take the heat.

I have not talked to Ken about this at all. Never once talked to him yesterday and he was on vacation since Thursday. He told me once before do what you think is best. This is what I think is best.

Been wrong before but I made the call and will live with it good or bad.

I had a bad experience with Betflamingo a few months ago. Here is what happened to me:

I opened up with $400. I made two bets on baseball the first day for about $300 total and my limits were changed to $25 minimum $250 maximum.

I played a few more days and continued to win. I then asked for a payout of 1/3 of my balance. I was told I could not get any payouts until I had rolled over my deposit 5 times.
I told them it was not in there rules, (They have since edited there rules) we argued back and forth but they would not pay.
Finally, they sent me a "we no longer want your business and we sent your deposit back" type email.

They thought sending my $400 deposit back would be fair, instead of my over 2 dime balance.

I explained to them it was no fair, infact it was stealing and I would not let them get away with it.
I then was redirected to "Bruno" who said it was all a misunderstanding and that he would send me $800 -$100 the bonus, and the payout fees.
I would be allowed to continue to play out my account.
What a great deal eh???

I made a couple more payouts, one was a couple days slow the others were right on time.
Never went back...

Back in the days when I was a board room member I made more than one recomendation for wiseguy1 to be watched or banned...

Cecil, not always an easy call. There are quite a few posters who like to "praise" specific books. Can't just ban them for it. But, yeah, it was a good call on your part.
