Yes, they have. Three team parlays on soccer with a 23-28% vig on a single wager, so the true vig is over 50% with a three teamer.

I think you should just smoke pot and use prostitutes there.

Sorry, I don't understand.

In Netherlands, sport betting is run by a goverment, De Lotto. I have never been there so I don't know much about it, but there should be some betting shops.

Next summer Mrs Jones and I are planning a trip to a European country. We will have at least a stopover in Amsterdam.

The years I spent single, I always wanted to go to Amsterdam. Never got the chance. Now I will finanally go with Mrs. Jones.

On the very few occasions that I used to go shopping with Mrs. Jones, she seemed to be relegated to only wandering around a mall looking at things. When she wanted to buy something, I would say "Honey, let's just go home and put that dollar into action and you can come back and get two of them." Next day, win or lose, she usually forgot about it.

This is BTW, a good strategy to use if your sweetheart wants you to go shopping with her. Makes her think for awhile she will get twice as much to buy as she wants. Remember you can always say you lost.

Eventually she will catch on and you'll not be asked to go shopping again. Instead you will get to turn totally wasted time into productive time spent alone at your computer posting informative stuff like this in an attempt to help your fellow degenerates and miscreants who struggle to fit a woman into their own little world.

Anyway she now says she will happily accompany me while I go "window shopping" in Amsterdam. And yes, she will remind me that I can better spend the money by putting it into action.

Spent the longest week of my life the two days I was in Amsterdam some 20 years ago. Decided to tour Europe after college. Land in Brussells, train to Amsterdam. Get off the train with a backpack and a Go To! book. Head out of the train station, down the hill into town. First guy I meet asks if I want grass, hash. Same with the second guy and third guy. Find a hostel and head out. Decide to try some, so a guy takes me into a tiny coffee shop/bar, takes the tobacco out of a Marlboro, mixes some hash with it and repacks it. There I am, drinking cheap Heinekens (there was a soda machine in the hostel lobby that dispensed cans of Heineken for $1 each) and got stoned. The whole two days went like that. Had to move on before I a) spent all my money and b) lost my sanity. There were bars there that gave you menus to order different types of hooch. God, what a time!!!

I saw some goofy slot machines there.

No betting parlors, but they have casinos, no sportsbetting that I saw.

Very cool country, beautiful women, friendly people, good tobacco, good beer. Great museums.

Check out the Van Gogh museum; those paintings as a group will never be topped and the reproductions don't do any justice - they're literally vibrating...psychedelic.

I was just there in February and it was amazing. If you like broads and weed, you will be in heaven. I don't know of any gambling outlets there, but there is PLENTY of other things to keep you occupied.

If you need a hotel, stay at the Barbizon Palace. It's very upscale and close to all the hash bars and whores. My favorite cafes were The Doors and the Grasshopper.

The Dutch people are great. Most speak perfect English and there is very little anti American sentiment. Actually, most really like Americans because there is very little tipping in the Netherlands...Or it is included in the price. As Americans, we are used to tipping and the typical American tip is usually way more than expected. So it's nice to throw a few bucks around and get the high roller treatment.

I also had the best pancakes ever at a little joint down the street from the Anne Frank house on Princengracht st.

Pancakes are awesome there.

I personally thought the Van Goh Museum was a tourist trap, very crowded and the guy was a freak.

You MUST go to the Riks Museum and see "The Nightwatch" its is amazing. I went to the Rikks three times.

Have been twice a year for past 5 yrs.
Best Museum - Rijksmuseum, unrivaled collection of artwork almost as great as the Louvre in Paris, original oils of the Masters. Rembrandt's NightWatch is haunting, VanGoghs, Matisses, Jan Steen, Vermeers, Mannets, Monet's Water Lillies on display there. Van Gogh Museum is good but no comparison IMO.
Best Brothel - Yab Yum http://www.yabyum.nl/ $$$
Next best Brothel - Golden Key Club
Best Coffee Shop - Grasshopper near Central train station.
Best hotel - Kraznapolski
Best Show - The Banana Bar XXX
Best sightseeing - by boat in Canal Cruiser
Best Casino - Holland Casino near Leitsplein, but the action inside is like a morgue, the patrons are so stiff its like they put viagra in the coffee, no one raises their voice or gets excited, I was asked to leave when I tried to get them to liven up a little. Nice looking croupiers though.
Best transportation - the trams or trains cant be beat, schedule board is most confusing and intimidating, just ask for help.
Biggest tourist trap - Anne Frank's house unless you like standing in line in the rain to be herded through a piece of shit.
Best Movies - Tuschinski theater, fabulous throw back Art Deco building, like the good old days, smells like opium inside, good place to catch a double feature.
Best Food - Amsterdam is not noted for food. If you get the munchies however "Walk around and let your nose be your guide."
