When a football game is not officialy played for 55 mins then the general rule is to cancel the wagers. I have long said that if the over is in the bag, then it should be graded a winner.

Not so fast...

If the book grades the bet a winner then they are open for a beating because the have to cancel the losing unders due to the rule. So, I have finally realized that the book could take a beating on the over wagers and no action to offset it with the unders(graded no action).

I cant believe no one ever pointed this out to me.

How about if they just grade the unders losers??

That would not fly as the rule is posted on the site as a no bet.
