I had deposited $1000 at Gameday using SucureBuxx on the 5th of August. They money was sucessfully accepted and placed in my account. A few days later my account was locked and I called and was told the $1000 was going to be held aside because of the SB situation. I totally disagreed with that decision but decided to be patient and wait it out. Been calling every week or so and getting the samestory, waiting for SB payment before they pay me. As September arrived I decided enough was enough with this stalling crap and called up my good buddy Skip at Gameday. Well Skip bascially told me I never would a deposited if not for the situation and that i was lying if I said I would have deposited noramally. Basically implying I was trying to scam them. The truth is I would have deposited since they were running 20% reload up to $1000 deposit that week and that I had deposited there in the past. My pal Skip also told me " if I wanted to play I would have to send real money next time" Since I can't afford plane tickets and time off to fly down to Costa Rica or wherever they are located everytime I want to deposit some money this in not a viable option for me. It's a damn shame that VIP/Gameday don't consider their options listed on their site real mondey.

I have contacted Shrink who got me in touch with Blake, the manager at VIPsports. He basically gave me the same story just in a more polite tone. he basically said that is the risk you take when dealing with these third party companies (nice to know) and that it is mutual risk between the book and the players. However I have $1000 at risk and Gameday doesn't as they have stated they won't pay if SB doesn't. So much for mutual risk. VIP/Gameday's policy is if we get stiffed, we will stiff our players. No risk to the book there.

Blake also mentioned they were going after SB with their lawyers. This to me is a clear indication that they believe SB owes them money. How can VIP sports possibly get away with the policy of " if someone stiffs us we will in turn stiff the players as to protect ourselves?" SB owes them money, they owe me money. This was an all cash transaction that was accepted and used to bet. Return my $1000!

What this comes down to is Gameday is confiscating and holding hostage my $1000. When SB went down I had a $0 balance there and a $1000+ balance at Gameday. If not for sending this money to Gameday i would have my $1000. I setn money to two other books that week, much larger amount and have since been paid in full to Neteller. If I had jsut decided to leave my money in SB I would have probaly gotten paid through 5Dimes. Unfortunatley I decided to deposit $1000 at Gameday for a re-up also and now I stand to lose $1000.

Did you not believe other posters who complained Gameday is a SHIT book? Gameday has stolen bonuses back from players because they placed wagers on juice free Fri. You can forget about the $1000. Gameday's motto: "Losers only need apply".

I guess I'm fresh out of new material.....

Players did not start Securebuxx and pressure or encourage books to use it to transfer money. The books offered it to the players. If you clicked on deposit/withdrawl at all securebuxx books, it explained what securebuxx was, provided links etc....encouraging the players to use it as a means of funding and getting paid out on accounts.

The books accepted the deposits and credited the accounts. The books maintained the business relationship with Securebuxx and by offering the service encouraged their customers to use it as a funding mechanism.

The players should not suffer en masse because these books chose poor business partners to align themselves with. The books, not the players, vetted the company and decided to use Securebuxx. The books realized that every month they would have to receive a payment from this company and the books decided that this was acceptable.

When the WU service provider in Curacao stiffed the books, did the players lose their money? Everyone who sent a Western Union was SOL? Their money was gone? This is no different. The middleman service employed by AND CHOSEN BY the books may or may not pay the books. The books have a beef with SB but not with the players who sent money to them, just like the books didn't not credit western union deposits in Curacao because their middleman (THAT THEY DID THEIR DUE DILIGENCE ON DECIDED TO USE ala Securebuxx) stiffed them.

Finally, a significant portion of the money that came into books via Securebuxx from actual (non-fictitous) bettors, went first from book A to the player's SB account then from the player's SB account to book B. In those cases, the player had money at book A and using SB moved it to book B. The player should still have the money at either Book A or Book B. If the player had money at Book A prior to some retarded cut off date, he/she should not be stiffed because the books chose to use an unreliable service provider.

Very simply if the player requested a withdrawl from Book A and subsequently deposited the $ into Book B, using the books' chosen service provider, Securebuxx, the fact that he/she did so after August 1, shouldn't make him bent over for a free shot from Book B. If transfers to Book B (deposits) are deemed non-payment then transfers from Book A (withdrawls) were also non-payment. Either way, if transfers stand or are rejected, the player's bankroll should be unaffected. If Book B won't accept the funny money they accepted, then Book A had better re-send the player's withdrawl, because their supposed payment is also deemed funny money.

I am disappointed that someone would offer an opinion, and others agree with one, that calls for any legit players to be stiffed. The books are good enough at that already and they certainly don't need any excuses to justify doing it again.

SecureBuxx is to blame here, NOT GD.

Frank, I agree, that's why I asked up above how he originally funded the $1,000 to Securebuxx. If it was through a ccard or bank debit card, I would of immediately called and had that payment reversed as soon as Gameday told me my account would not be credited right away.

I'm 99% sure GD is telling the truth - they never got the $$$.

Why in the hell would anyone think GD should allow bets to be made or w/d made on money never received

There was no credit card or debit card involved. Got money into SB from another books payout.

FatFrank, Let me try to respond to you with a hypothetical first.
You send a book money using Neteller cash (No CC) , book and Neteller have a falling off and cease business. Book never gets money, but book also never reverses funds back to you. Would you settle witht he fact that you are just out that money?
Basically Gameday accepted the money, let me bet, then when the shit hit the fan they tryed to act like nothing ever happened and that they didn't accept it. Gameday knowes they accepted the money, that is why they are going after SecureBuxx with lawsuits, it's because SECUREBUXX OWES GAMEDAY!

Fact is i would have my $1000 if I had decided to send it to another book or just leAve it in Securebuxx that day. I'm out $1000 because I decided to deposit at Gameday!
I could possbily understand Gamedays stance if they thought I was part of the group form Canada suspected of being a fraud, but I have played at Gameday a couple times over the last year or two.
I had no inside knowledge and deposited before Securebuxx announce seasing operations. I deposited more then $1000 at another book after Gameday and got paid on full to Neteller within days. That book understood it was a legit depsoit and that it was a deposit when the money was transferred out of SB, just like I understand that when I receive funds in my Neteller account I've been paid by a book, not whenever I decide to move that money back to my bank account. If that were they case I could start a topic "pinnacle took 6 months to pay!" since I left the balance sitting in Neteller for 6 months. It is not my business when these books and thrid parties settle up their debts. That is between Securebuxx and Gameday.

For any who take the books side, please explain this to me: Why does Gameday feel Securebuxx owes them money if the players didn't depsoit "real money?"

Is there any way that GD can reverse the money back to SB and then transfer from SB to 5 dimes or any book who will help out?

Some of the people at GD are a bit harsh to say the least.
I hardly think you were trying to scam them and were just caught up in the middle.

If you are pissed at SB why take it out on a player in the middle?
Show some class here GD/VIP and you will earn the players respect.

Originally Skip had told me they were going to reverse the money back to SecureBuxx. After a week or so of waiting and nothing happening I contacted him and was told he couldn't reverse the transfer.

Ladeda, what was the date when you transfered money from your other book to Securebuxx? If it was around Aug 5, you should go back to that book and get the $1000 from them. Gameday is a SHIT book but I would have to side with them if they did not recieve the $1000 from Securebuxx. The Aug 5th date is right about the time the shit hit the fan.

Chuck,
I believe that the other book payed me right around the Auguest 1st.
-On August 2nd I deposited $4000 into a book I had never before played and have since been paid in full to Neteller.
-On August 5th I deposited
$1000 into Gameday and $2000 into a book I play at frequently and was paid by the other book the following week problem free to Neteller.

I would have deposited at the other two books sooner but there was a really light schedule the 3rd or 4th I believe and didnt want to send funds til needed.

All I can say is that Gameday has been blasted many times by respected posters here at The RX. Its best to avoid these boiler room operations.

Still not paid a penny.

Please don't deposit at this book, if anything happens to Neteller, Firepay, etc they will steal from you to protect themselves.
