Since the Shrink and the army of paid posters/moderators claim these books are safe will they fund an insurance pool to pay players that get stiffed should these books go under?

If not, why???

Sportsf,

Your first post is here. Your second post is another bashing us. Hmmm...why do you not post under your normal posting name? How about this...you put up 10k and I will put up 10k of my own personal money. We send it to a book of mutual choice. If our group stiffs ANY players, you keep the 20k. If we do not, I keep it. We can let this go for one year, starting the date that the money is received. You in?

I did speak to Dave, from Rio. I am sure he would throw in 20k of his own money. I will talk to him about it, if you wish. So, now it would be our 30k vs. your 30k. Put up or SHUT UP!

It would be nice if there was a fund setup to help players. I think the Shrink found too many legal problems when this idea came up before. I think a coalition of sites could be formed to fund it.

it is not shrinks job to insure these books it is his job to give accurate info so that players can make informed decisions. NO one has claimed a no pay or slow pay. NO one wants to name a source. people sending annomyous emails is not credible info

THIS SITE REALLY GETS HURT BY IDIOTS WHO POST SHIT LIKE THIS SPORTF MORON. YOU KNOW THAT HE IS ONLY TRYING TO STIR UP THE SOUP. ISN'T THERE SOMETHING THAT THE RX CAN DO TO ENSURE THAT POSTERS ARE LEGIT? IF A SITE COULD DO SOMETHING TO SCRUTINIZE WHO POSTS IN TERMS OF FILTERING THE DECENT PEOPLE FROM THE SLIME, THEY WOULD CERTAINLY GET MY BUSINESS. WHY IS THERE SUCH ATTRITION HERE? IT IS BECAUSE TOO MANY SLIMEBALLS CAN COME ON HERE AND POST ANYTHING WITHOUT ANY RAMIFICATIONS. I THINK THAT THERE SHOULD BE SOMEONE HERE MONITORING WHO POSTS HERE, AND DETERMINING IF THEY ARE GOOD OR BAD FOR THE SITE. IF THEY ARE ONLY NEGATIVE WITHOUT CREDIBILITY, THEIR IP SHOULD BE BLOCKED. VERY GOOD POINT JAKE! I HAVE DONE BUSINESS WITH DAVE AND RIO FOR YEARS, AND I AM SURE THEY WILL PUT UP THE COIN. THIS IS A TOTAL JOKE.

Hey guys,

I've followed the threads here and across the street and it's pretty obvious this sportsf is some Major Wager flunkee...kinda like the Al Queda recruits/alcolytews of Osama that fly airplanes into buildings. F***in pointless.

TG, this poster obviously isn't some newbie, but he does have a good point.

Different people are hearing (or at least telling) VERY different stories about what is going on with these books.

Something is up, but I'm not sure exactly what.

The good thing is that the majority here can see right through this ignorance. It is a shame that we have to see false allegations like this. It is tough to censor all of it as we may censor the wrong warnings. God knows they are throwing darts here and someday they may hit their target.

The bad thing is, like a crying wolf, innocent people get hurt along the way.

General, if there is nothing wrong at Sportbet, why would the owners of four other books say that they were broke?

There is a LOT of conflicting info out there....players can believe who they want to the degree that they want, but in the end, they should at least be somewhat concerned.

I don't put 100% faith in anything that I hear from anyone on any of these forums. Throw out the primary agendas, and you still don't know who may be feeding others bogus info.

TTinCO,

IF there is a problem then let the proof show it. I do not know if there is a problem. If I did I would have information to support such and be happy to present it upon posting such.

General huh?
Don't you think we should see if they are false before declaring they are???

The same thing happened in both the Homebets and Royal cases recently and BOTH turned out to be right on even though Rx mods originally defended both like you are doing now. Players need to be careful and to call this "ignorance..false allegations" is at best premature. If this turn out to be true are you ready to shoulder the responsibility to players that could have cashed out but stayed because you said the whole thing is one big "false allegation"?

Tin - the owner of what 4 sportbooks have said this? I have been busy and not seen everything on this.

Teaser - unfortunately you can't censor people for having an unpopular message and/or having an agenda. If it continues and some of these idiots go too far something will be done eventually but for the most part we allow almost anything to be posted here concerning off-shore books. Why? Because despite anyone's best intentions we can not look into a crystal ball and say who is 100% safe and who is not. There is no better voice to hear things from than the voice of players who use these books. Yes you will get some of them with agendas and whatever but it's one of those situations where you have to take the good with the bad. What if we censor the wrong thing and then a bunch of people get hurt? Then we are defeating the purpose of us being here. Usually people can sift through the riff raff so we feel the more information people have the more informed they are. Not a perfect system but beats the alternative.

General, I understand what you are saying, but lets be realistic. By the time clear cut facts come out, the game is already over.

Buzzsaw,

Let me rephrase my opinion. If the allegations are true, I would not like it. I do not think that the players will be stolen from though. I think someone would take over the accounts and Jake has posted that they have had offers.

Your hard-on for Sportbet has been ongoing for a long time. If the players listened to you months ago, they would have been misled up to now.

Time will tell the story.

No, I do not have the monies to guarantee the light bill is paid so I cannot insure anything.

Do you not agree that in posting the warning like this that we should have concrete evidence?

As I have told you many times, my opinion of sportbet has NOTHING to do with my job here. I was with Jake and Co well before I worked here, but it suits you to say so.

I do not appreciate it, but Im a big boy.

Keep on keeping on.

Pat, I didn't ask who the four were, but was told that they were considered to be reliable sources.

What? You're over here throwing around that statement based on that? Someone comes to you and says "4 owners say Sportbet is in trouble Tin"? And even then you don't ask who they are or know anything about it other than you are told they are "reliable sources"?

As I was saying, we allow pretty much anything over here.

Let me ask this. If there are people out there who are reliable and have facts to support this claim, why will they not share this evidence?

I guess the truth is there is nothing we can do until it is to late and then all we can do is listen to the big egos say I told ya so.
