I would sure hate to think that MVP, even with paying ALL that money for print ads, can surely do better than pay a lame ass outfit known as VEGAS OFFSHORE in Roswell Georgia to handle their business for them. Something happened to me that never happened to me before. On Friday, I got 4 calls from the same book in a matter of minutes, I swear.. What bothered me was that I never heard of this book.
First they call at 10:30 am and wake me out of bed. They say hi, it's betgoldpalace.com (not goldenpalace.com). I tell the guy to lose my # and bang down fast on him. Then 20 minutes later, a woman now calls and says she is from betgoldpalace.com, and asks me to send money. I tell her I'm broke, no money and to never call me again. Then I'm in the shower and my cell phone rings again, I run out of the shower naked, and dripping wet and it's another woman from there again. I yell outta the top of my lungs saying, DON'T EVER CALL HERE AGAIN YOU LITTLE SLUT, I TOLD YOU, I HAVE NO MONEY. They called one more time 45 minutes later, and this time, I just answered, didn't say hello, as i knew it was them, and then I hear a different man saying, hello hello, this is betgoldpalace.com, and this time, I told them to hold on one sec and to please, whatever you do, don't hang up because I have to go answer the door, and I am happy you called because I wanted to reach you because I wanted to send 25k.. The kid sounded excited as hell. I kept the phone in my room hanging there on the bed, and I went back 8 minutes later, and he was still there, I kid you not..True Story..
Can anyone get me some info on these deadbeats. I want to know who they are, and where they come from, and see if they are a scam operation or not, because if they're ok, I want to get them back for what they did to me, and for waking up Sick Gambler out of bed 2 times. I am thinking of pulling out the plug off the wall because of them now.
I am thinking of calling them at 12:55 pm next Sunday to teach them a lesson for annoying Sick Gambler. I don't mind if you want to annoy me, or prank me, but pls, DO NOT WAKE THE SICK ONE UP, OR HE HAS A VERY BAD DAY. IF I DONT GET MY SLEEP, WELL, I AM NOT MYSELF...I AM NOT SICK GAMBLER..

Think God I gave them a bogus number when signing up on-line. I was thinking about depositing for the bowl games, but will not make that mistake.
Thanks again for the info. Books need to understand that they lose business from this practice. Why the hell is there a national do not call list if people don't want to be called at home. Now take into account they are calling about gambling and sending money to a foreign country it just makes no sense why they call. Adding MVP to my list of never play at books.

best of al - last week i got TWO sports skeds from them - for SEPTEMBER 4-29.

Did you also get the classic junk mail from them with a return addy that looked like it was from a law firm?

These MFers called me today, and according to my caller id, it came from fvckin' Bridgewater, IA...they just succeeded in making sure that I will NEVER EVER play with them, and I can't believe these stupid MFers really have no clue how badly this practice annoys the vast majority of us...
