Playing Games.

I haven't played a pc game since when i was about 17 or so, i used to play a lot of adventure games, but right now i am really bored, too bored to browse the forums.

Anyone got any good MYSTERY adventure games to suggest i download, like whodunnits et al.

lol - well, since Jack broached the subject, I used to play Doom, Quake and Unreal, but it's been a LONG time - anything out there on that level, or has ID released yet another Doom-style game? Nothing better than a goal-oriented game where I can use a chainsaw on those who wish to harm me

I think Doom 3 and Unreal 2 may be out...Halo for PC also a WWII game that's supposed to be REALLY great...I've been missing out on all of these games for the past several years myself.

Thanks, Nepenthe - I scanned for Doom 3 and found you can pre-order it at Amazon, it's due for release on Feb 27, 2004 - here's some of the graphics (if they display) ... naw, they won't, so go to this site instead if interested:
