has made comments regarding side and total for years. With John Madden he has toned it down I noticed.

I was under 38 at even money. Really thought it was a loser at the half, but I quess that is why they play the whole game.

I think he bet the Dolphins and stayed away from the total. He didn't seem to concered either way when Mare missed

I don't think Al Michaels has to worry about money. He knows his audience has plenty of bettors watching until the last minute. Mostly because of the different types of bets that are still up in the air, and not obvious to a non-betting football fan.

Why the hell would you bet the games if it was your job to call them??? Its really ridiculous to think he would bet the games, I mean if you have an ounce of professional integrity you wouldn't even think twice about not betting, especially games you were calling. Not to mention the millions at stake for him, there is no way I would wager a penny on the NFL. I mean when you are already rich and super busy with work, I think getting in action on games has got to be the last thing on your mind, but when you jeopardize all you have for it you would have to be an extremely sick puppy.

Just because he comments on the spread doesn't mean he has action on the game....he probably never even realized how much attention he gets on all the threads after the comments..

Had to be the under, he giggled it when he said it, plus had it hit he might not have said anything. It was in a way, a little bragging on his part.

Actually. Al DOES bet on the games. I remember watching MNF on the first Monday of the year and John Madden asked Al what the horse trailer was for. And Al said that it was a place to put bets in at. Yeah, I know they post the MVP's of the games but that's just a front.
