this one will be interesting. stratton got a HORRIBLE bad beat. he was down all game with WSU and was up 8, laying 7.5 with seconds left in the game when WSU (did the right thing - from a non-betting standpoint) and took a safety at the gun to give back the cover.

Stratton is 3-2 w/a BB still left to play

Leonard is 3-2 w/a BB win

sliiiiiiiight edge here to leonard only because of the BB win already in the bank.

BOTH won their BB - so now it all comes down to the SNF game

if the total stays UNDER 43.5 - leonard forces a tie and they come back next week.

if KC/Buff goes OVER 43.5 - stratton wins 4-3.

when there are 33 points scored in the 1st 1/2 - the game should go flying OVER 43.5

but thanks to the hook - bryan leonard gets a miracle win - and this contest ends in a push - meaning both come back next week.

wonder what stratton thinks of that safety on the last play of the WSU/OSU game - the one that lost him a cover that woulda won him this match.

He must be double sick. First the WSU game and then after KC-Buff score 33 points in the 1st half, he has to sit back and watch virtually no scoring in the 2nd half.

I am still amazed how many people talk about how bad a beat that WSU game was. I mean if you saw it you would see there was virtually nothing else you could do as the coach. The team was on like their own 10 yard line up by 8 points with about 10 seconds to go and 4th down. I mean yeah if you want to say it was a bad beat because of the time, but the play situation made it 100% obvious that a safety was the thing to do, not punt the ball out of your own end zone or run a play that could be stopped. And as a disclaimer, I had no money on the game.
