I'm sure every team will be different, not saying other teams are going to be the same. But "the Yankees are going to need to make changes" is what a lot of the Yankees players stated after last nights game. Who knows if the Yankees will make it to the playoffs next year. To much talk is already being thrown around. Everyone knows there are going to be changes.....but how much and to what extent? Clemens is retiring, Wells should be done, Jeter and Giambi both needing surgery. Andy Pettite is going to be a free agent now (but Steinbrenner will pay whatever it takes to keep Andy IMO). Also, with all the family fueds between Zimmer, Torre and Steinbrenner. Stottlemyre as well may leave the Yankees depending on if a few other key players leave. I just did the poll on ESPN and one thing is for sure.........Money doesn't buy championships.
Good luck to the New York Yankees next year.
