NEED HELP WITH THE BORGATA IN AC

My gf bought six tix for Duran Duran on Nov 8 (dont ask). I'm interested in staying there for the weekend but dont want to spend 425/night. I attend casinos about 1x/month and play craps - $10 pass line, double odds, and have the six and the 8 working on every roll. I play for about 6 hours/day. I'm clearly aware this style/amount does not warrant a comped room. I'm simply looking for a discount.

I called two hosts - one is on vacation and the other has not returned my call (pls note: I did not indicate my style of play on the voice mail so they have no idea who they are dealing with -big or small). Again, I'm not looking for handout, just a reduction in price. The six tix cost about $550. I could stay at the Taj for free (my uncle plays poker there 3 days/k) but would really like to try out the Borgata. Does anyone have any contacts/suggestions?

if you give them 4 hours of poker play per day you can stay there for less than 200 per night.

Getting rooms in AC on Saturdays these days seems so difficult. I highly doubt the Borgata would give a discount on a Saturday night room with $10 craps action.

If you can get the free room at the Taj, I'd just go for that and drive or get a lift to/from the Borgata.

Wow! Did he say $425 a night? No thanks. I hear it's great but all I end up doing is passing out in the room a couple of times, no chance of me paying that price.

Borgata is having trouble filling up the rooms except on Saturday nights. Maybe spend that night at the Taj and if you really want to stay at the Borgata spend Friday night there.

HAve no advice but was there today for the second or third time and really like the place.

Like the no kids, the convenient parking, poker/cards away from slots, like the no coin slots too, less noise! I like the whole place in general.
