Yet Devil posts today that

How can a guy move his book from one country to another and not even show up in the new country to help set it up?

Maybe I am getting a few more hints on why some of these places are going under. I have heard of "absentee ownership" but this is bordering on ridiculous.

Since your the number one know it all about offshore without being offshore, I'll let you in on this. When you have good people running your shop who have good work ethic and are trust worthy, it is not necessary for you to be in the office 24-7. If you think you need to be there all the time then you have the wrong people behind the wheel.

What do you think the "owners" of MB think about Freddie's completely hands-off management style? It doesn't make sense that someone would hire him to run the place (as he claims is the case) and then not expect him to be there.
