the CA lotto is worth at least $98 MILLION in today's drawing (held just before 8P).

the way it works is you pick:

5 numbers between 1-47
1 number between 1-27 (called "Mega" number)

the "Mega" ball is separate from the 1-47 balls - so it is possible for the same number to be pulled from the 1-47 draw as the 1-27 draw. understand.

with this in mind, i am doing what i have done in the past - asking the peanut gallery here to help me out.

i want 6 people to post a number they like for the lottery (5 people pick a 1-47 ball and 1 person the mega number). if you post the Mega number please state so - otherwise i will assume it is for the 1-47 numbers.

i will take the 6 numbers and put $1 on it. IF it hits - trust me - the 6 people who gave me numbers will be taken care of very nicely - and unless a ton of tickets win - these 6 will also be getting a 7-figure check from me.

so, toss out 6 numbers and let's have some fun.

and because the lottery is worth so damned much - after the first 6 post - i will take 6 more for another ticket and put $1 on that one, too.

Your chances of winning the lottery greatly increases when you select numbers greater than 31. The reason for this, is that the numbers 1-31 are common birthday numbers that everyone uses. The numbers that are over 31 are used alot less, thus increasing your chances of hitting a lottery without splitting the prize.
