Without question, the Fisk homer is THE PLAY in World Series history...

My top 5 most popular moments...

1.Fisk Homer
2.Buckner error
3.Gibson/Eckersley
4.Brooks Robinson 1971 defensive performance
5.Me getting 1979 World Series Ball and Lee May`s bat at game 6 and scalping my ticket as I snuck into Memorial Stadium at 4:00 in the afternoon

Nawww ... I'd say it's tough to choose one, given that 5 happened either before I was born or just afterwards, and of the others, I saw probably only 3. Of those, my fondest is of Gibson's homer, when he hobbled up there to bat and did what no one would dare to dream he would so.

Right 9 times the Cards have won. Look at the scoreboard in the Don Larsen post, see where it says number 8 at bat, guess who that was.
