I started wagering on sports in 2001 and made alot of mistakes learning the art of betting. However, in the last season of each sport I have seen a marked improvement in my profits..well i should say I am finally profitting somewhat.

At first I did alot parlays and did alot of betting with my heart instead of my brain and thinking like a bettor, shopping lines, etc...

I say it has taken me a good two years to be confident in my picks and to know when I shouldn't wager on a particular game. I no longer feel like I'm being stupid wagering on games..but feel like I can turn a profit with the right approach.

I have learned money management is the key and to never chase losses or double up/bet heavy after a win.

I think it has alot to do with this site..and with all the knowlegde I have learned. I want to thank every one including Shrink.

I'm still a streaky bettor in that I bet for like a couple months then take a month or two off to live with my winnings or recoup losses but now I know that the losses are part of the game and its possible to win if you play with the right mindset.

OH yeah, I would also like to take this time out to tell all my fantasy football competition that how does it feel to lose every week to me?
