looks like the squares are filling up...

I have a question about the $5 squares, which I know was asked before but I never saw answered...

What happens if no one bought the "winning" square? Is all money refunded? Looks to me like the pool is based on the number of paid players, so if gamblers ave takes everything on those unbought square, seems a little unfair. Thanks.
