Pointbet might be pulling an acesgold. Either that or they are trying to get people to jump all over the Yankees and then they will wait until the series is over and scream bad line if and only if the Yankees win.

It has Yankees -139 and Florida +162. I Cant understand that weird way of showing lines. I cant see how to change it to the -110 format. Something is clearly wrong with this. Another book intentionally posting a "bad line" so they can scream foul if the Yankees win or say "a bet is a bet" if Florida wins.

I didn't even notice that they had Marlins +162 so you're probably right, it's a bad line.

I don't think Pointbet are pulling an Acesgold. The max limit is $1,000 which is much lower than usual. I have already tried for a scalp, so my eagerness might cost me a few $$ in the end...

you should sort out with Pointbet today whether the bet will stand or not.

I sent an email to Pointbet to ask them if the Yankees @ -139 was a "bad line" and if my bet would get cancelled. (The outright market for the World Series had been closed at that time, btw.) Here's their answer:

"Dear Sir, thank you for your email.
the prices is not wrong or "bad line". Because everytime after they the
match play the Outright bet type for Baseball will be closed. We will open
the market after The Odds Maker Department analyze the game and the market.
The prize can be same or can be different. We can´t cancel your bet because
there isn´t any mistake with your stake.

I'm not sure Pointbet realise that they made a mistake yesterday but my bet should be "safe" now, right?
