There is a bill in the Senate to ban money transfers to and from Sportsbooks. No changes yet as to the legality to wager online by individuals. I think there are two states where it is illegal already. Indiana & one of the Dakotas I think. Maybe more but not to many. There is no criminal penalty for the bettors included in the bill. It affects commerce businesses that help in the transferring of funds.

has some gret info from a poster that contacted www.gamblingandthelaw.com and talked to a law professor there it is not illegal YET in my opinion, but they are trying to make it so

unless your NETeller's are to Carlos Escobar with a memo of 'ganja' there's no way to catch you other than to see you doing it. (which they will arrest you for).
It's much easier to go after gamblers because we're moving thousands of dollars back and forth through the same limited number of channels (NETeller, Firepay, WU, etc ..). Not exactly the same as buying a dime bag from Joey 'Crack Head' in the alley.
