Recently heard some not so flattering things of them. Obviously I can't play there but wonder what you guys think. I thought they had great lines based on what others had told me.......

William Hilll will never close your account for winning. They use a different method. On each event they have a maximum amount that you may bet on it. When you are a new customer, they will allow you to bet a 100% of that maximum. If you prove to be a loser in every sport, they will continue to allow you to bet up till a 100% of that maximum, but the moment you start winning on a certain sport a little too much, they will then only allow you to bet up till a certain % of that maximum and that certain % can drop to 5%.

William Hill was not my first off-shore (which was Ladbrokes in Gibraltar) account, but they were my first on-line account back in 1998. My first payout then took over two weeks instead of the promised 2 days, so I was confronted with the fvck you around procedure first time already.

These days William Hill does pay fast. You will not hear me complain about that anymore, but they have become a totally useless book! One will simply always find a better price on BetFair!

Have you ever seen such a post...William Hill pays slow or doesn't pay at all? No, because they pay quickly without delays. acw is right. They do not boot. Besides, they have the best withdrawal method for me - back to credit card. No fees, 2 days for waiting money. And unlike other bookmakers, which use up to the amount deposited, you can withdraw as much as you want. The best bookmaker I've ever used. Only Pinnacle and Canbet work as well as WH. I mean no questions, no delays with withdrawals. In this case european and australian bookmakers are simply cannot be compared with us offshore. No questions when you withdraw money, they simply send you your money because its YOURS.

A letter received by a U.K. punter from William Hill, posted on a Euro forum:

Posted: Tue Oct 14, 2003 9:59 pm Post subject: Will Hill Again

-------------------

"Unfortunately our Trading Department have taken a decision to restrict your business on all sports and that is why you have been receiving lower stakes and are unable to place any bets. The traders review client accounts on a regular basis so the restriction may be lifted in the future"

Never been booted before, my lower limit is Zero.

Anyone know if this is common with WH ? "
