The System will be doing a show on the book bringing down the house..

Its at 10 est.

The System
Taking Vegas
60 mins.

The extraordinary story of MIT student Kevin Lewis, who in the early '90s put together a team of fellow students to take on Las Vegas casinos at the blackjack tables, is told. The group worked in teams that employed an advanced form of card-counting to ensure that they'd walk away richer than when they sat down. Included: the insights of Lewis, and author Ben Mezrich (“Bringing Down the House: The Inside Story of Six MIT Students Who Took Vegas for Millions”).

angie, you're a doll, and thank you very much for thinking of us here. A real team player is what you are.. But Angie baby, are you forgetting something here.. Do you have any idea what will be going on during this show??

Game 7 of the biggest game of all time and perhaps the highest ratings in any baseball game ever..

Thanks Angie..

what are you talking about sick? the game will be over by at least an hour before this show starts. game starts about 5:15P and this show doesn't air until 10P. where is the conflict for those living on the "BEST" coast as opposed to the (L)east Coast.

Gents, the official time for the first pitch is 7:18 pm Eastern Standard Time. The Court TV show starts at 10 pm Eastern Standard Time. The game will have to exceed 2 hours and 42 minutes before it runs into the program.

Naturally a VHS, DVD or hard-drive recorder would eliminate any possible conflict.

Oftentimes network shows showing at 10P Eastern time are delayed for those on the left coast. As winky mentioned, this show will probably air at 10P Pacific time for those out West.

***NOPE! the game starts at 8:18P EDT (NOT EST). prime time doesn't start until 8P (7P - in CDT) - and if you think FOX is going to show ONE NANOSECOND of this game outside prime time in the east/central time zones - you know NOTHING about TV - NOTHING!

Winkyduck: you're absolutely correct! I once again converted the damn EDT into my time, which is CDT in Kansas City, one hour behind Eastern - so you're absolutely correct, the game would have to be REALLY short not to interfere.

Man, second time I've fvcked up today on basic shit - funny the things you miss sniffing glue, I also lapsed into Standard Time before Daylight Time is officially over.

I don't know what amnet is. But if you are in the states go to www.tvguide.com. You can set it with your info and it tells you the channels and what is playing in your area.

thanks,

Angelle,
I thought I was the only one on this board who read it.
On the West Coast it's on at 10pm, then again at like 2, then at 4:30, which I will catch since I work until 4.
The book is a great read for anyone interested in blackjack.

Does anyone know if this will be playing again? I missed it the first time. I had a chance to see parts of it and it looked good.
