PETA doesn't bother me in the least - it's the airheads at Disney who gave into this pathetic bullshit that bother me. Fish is excellent protein and is often the only source of good protein available in some impoverished ocean nations, and Disnay buckles under to a 'Fish Are Friends' hallucinogenic happy-crappy pablum?

Jazz....PETA "may not bother yoou" TODAY, but understand like ANY OTHER freedom, they are out to take it.....forcibly! How about taking your 4 year old out on the boat for a day of fishing, only to find these idiots on the shoreline heaving rocks at the water AND your boat !!! It is a bigger problem then most people are aware of and with an alliance like Disney, it only hurst mainstream America.

sds: I MEANT that there will always be nutcase organizations like PETA running around crying about one thing or another - there are a ton of them here in America - but it's the companies like Disney that I reserve my contempt for, because they should know better than to pander to extremist views like PETA's. Of COURSE I don't like PETA, but the way to fight back is to contact Disney and tell them what you think, and eventually simply boycott them if it bothers you enough. You cannot win by attacking PETA directly because THEY DON'T GIVE A SHIT WHAT ANYONE ELSE THINKS - they are agenda-driven. But by taking action against companies caving to these little piscine pissant fish-huggers, you send a message where it counts - in the companies' wallets.

My point was that being a fish-lover is sign of psychological weakness, and the movement, if supported like the way Disney is doing will lead to the demise of humanity (as outlined in the UM), unless of course there are some opposing forces like me, you, Jazz, and the Unabomber.
