That's right. By pulling their advertising from MW they have made a serious and LOUD statement. They have stated that they will not
tolerate Russ' tactics and will not allow their sportsbook to be associated with a site whose owner has less credibility than the National Inquirer. Great Job BHB! All readers have got to be impressed with the precedent that you have just set. Now that you are no longer with MW, your credibility as a sportsbook has gone up HUGE with me! The time has come when legitimate sportsbooks have to ask themselves,"Do we really want to be associated with people like MW?" BHB has made their statement. Others with intelligent corporate heads will surely follow suit.

Rio & BHB have been solid up to now. no reason not to trust them. The same cannot be said about Major, so one may choose who they like. I will sleep fine choosing BHB & Rio. Hope the rest do as well.

this is so hilarious!!!!

i guess books like pinnacle, canbet, olympic and grande should be avoided then because they are major advertisers at MW.

Most books pay to be on sites just to be there. So that the site wont talk trash about them.

Is pinny a great site? of course they are. No one is saying they arent becasue of where they advertise. What I am saying is that MW is a joke. They lie, cheat, and russ was quite rude when I spoke with him.

They have plenty of good books on their site. But believe me they are not opening any accounts there. They are only advertising there because they want to be listed on as many sites as possible.

Period.

Raisencain, you are obviously another moron who freqents the forums with an IQ that does not eclipse a truck driver. I can tell this by the fact that you have not used one polysyllabic word in any of your posts. Given, there are books that advertise at that site that are hugely credible. However, if you can interpret what i said, which i find hard to believe because you are so provincial, you would understand that what I said was that the move that BHB made was a harbinger for the future, and this was indicative of what myriad books will be doing in the future. Sorry to write with words that are incomprehensible to a moron like you, but i am sure that all of the other people who read these forums with at least a high school education have the apptitude to understand my point.

LOL....since i only understood four words in your post, i have no way to refute any of it.

i did always want to be a truck driver though, so it can't be that bad.

I think you will see less and ess books paying sites like MW in the future. Maybe not necessarily to follow our lead, but because its really not worth it.

MW does not get that much traffic. period. I am glad this situation happened with rio, becasue it showed me even more about russ, and pushed me to make a decision that im glad i made.

goodnight

teaser guru:

I counted 4 polysyllabic words in RC's post, then stopped counting. Tough to say, but I don't think RC's post necessarily reflects a narrow minded or "provincial" view point. The phrase, "harbinger for the future" is redundant. Aptitude is spelled with one "p" and has little or nothing to do with educational level. Two questions: why the gratuitous slam on truck drivers? And, who's the dolt?

niatross, i type so fast that i frequently make spelling errors. Harbinger is synymomous with indicator. so saying that something is an indicator for the future is linguistically correct. You are right about the jab against truck drivers. There are probably many, many truck drivers who are smarter and more well read than myself. I shouldn't assume anything about anyone's level of intelligence. You are right. I wasn't thinking when I jeered truck drivers. that is totally wrong. I guess in this case, I am just a stupid cheesehead. Bottom line, however, is that RC did not understand the focal point of my post. I was just saying that my opinion is that many premier books will think twice about aligning themselves with sites that don't act professionally. I think he missed my point. Reiterating, my point was not that RC is smarter than me, or i smarter than him. I just wanted to convey the point that premier books will only tolerate so much B.S. from Russ.

TG,
Nice apology...too bad you had to spoil it with your refusal to accept that your usage of the word, harbinger, was redundant. Perhaps this will help....definition of harbinger....

One that indicates or foreshadows what is to come; a forerunner.

I won't comment on anything else right now but I want to make it clear my opinion of Raisen, they don't come any more stand-up than he is. Even when he knows it's unpopular I've seen him call bullshit on things when he knows something to be untrue. So even if I do not agree with him on every issue if he says it than he believes it. I take everything he says very seriously as he calls it the way he sees it, not many like that anymore.

TG,

I didn't mean to be so pedantic, but your post seemed to call for it.

You are accused of being a "ghost" on another site. I am not sure what to make of this accusation, but if true, it would seriously call into question the purpose of this site, and its credibility. I have been a long time reader here, and less than occasional poster. In my mind, the site is worthless if these allegations are correct. I don't know that you will ever be able to convince your accusers of the integrity of your identitiy and your self-professed concern for professionalism. I am also unsure how to satisfy my own concerns on this most serious of questions. I can think of one simple test: how do locals pronounce "Two Rivers?" Any Sturgeon Bay resident should know the answer to this question.

Patty, I'm not getting into this forum war bullshit(because both sites are coming across looking like they are run by idiots), but your above quote was my exact feeling about you before you took your position here.

I'll leave it at that, and you know what I'm talking about.

Peep has to be loving life watching Mw & Rx trash each other like this......

niatross, please tell me what is the definition of a ghost. Like I told someone else, I thought I saw one when I took LSD and saw Steve Miller at Milwaukeefest in the 80's. I pronounce Two Rivers the same way i pronounce Egg Harbor, Fish Creek, Sister Bay, and Bailey's harbor. If you would like to fight, I can meet you at the seven mile fair exit tomorrow, lol.
