Obviously the public seemed to be heavy on the cubs. Did books cash-in nicely with the Marlins win?

Been told that some books were VERY HIGH with Cubs futures. So I would venture to say that some bookies are sleeping in today after getting a good nights rest last night.

I heard a fair number of books made some good change on the first round series, that the low number with the Braves took in a fair amount of money. They supposedly didn't fare as well in drawing in money on the Marlins for the series price here, so in fact they really hit it perfectly and do to the very high interest in the playoffs this year as judged by TV ratings, are probably doing extremely well in bases for a change.
