I live about 15 minutes from the staduim & the wind is blowing hard, from home to right field. It's about 35-30 gusting right now, but the local meteorologists are saying the wind should be up and be around 30 steady this afternoon with gusts up to 50+

It is not expected to change direction.

I know playoffs are ususally low scoring, but this wind WILL be a factor. There are some o9 EV 's out there.

I hear ya.....I'm about 45 miles from the bronx.Wind is knocking down trees,and we are getting 40mph gusts.
Should be a fun game to watch,every fly ball will be an adventure. Over goods like a good play.

It's blowing out to right (as if it weren't short enough).

They say it will stay that direction (not sure how they know).

I'd hedge my opener ... I have a middle (no juice

) on the 9 going.

I'd have kept the o9, but Pettitte is a ground ball pitcher.

If Torre starts putting out nothing but lefty batters and switch hitters start hitting left against Pettitte, then you will know its a good bet

I got on it yesterday too, I think someone on here posted about the wind and I figured as people came to hear the news it would either be a good value bet to stick with or I could get a nice middle. I will stick with the over 9 -105. I think both pitchers won't last until the 5th...

Dean Martin it is. I know he was a star even before I was born, but hell the guy had a class and style you just don't see anyone these days. You get guys like Clooney who at times look like they will take that kind of place, then he makes stupid comedies that only a horrible agent would think would suit the role. So until someone in "my time" proves worthy, I pay homage to the old greats...
