I have been very impressed with the job Al Leiter has been doing in these playoffs as a color commentator. He expresses himself very well, has a nice clear voice and doesn't state the obvious.

Agreed, Charlie. I like the insight he gives about other players, i.e. Mordecai being a good fast ball hitter right before he lashes one into the gap. He's very good.

he's improved alot since game #1
he was very reserved at the begining, but now much more comfortable

Finally they bring in somebody who knows a lot about pitching....so many times he has called the pitch way before it happened and i love it....somebody other then frickin joe morgan!
