Its time for Joe Pa to retire. But will say the record of late isnt all his fault. Penn St doesnt have the ability or appeal to be able to recruit the talanet as before.

Problem is Joe being scared to start fresh talent. Larry Johnson did not get to be featured back until his senior year, and he had a tremedous season. Did he have that talent earlier? What if he had 3 more years under Paterno to develop? All the running backs of the past 8-10 years have had the same problem...highly recruited, then sit on the bench for 3 years rotting until they get a chance to play.

Joe seems to be getting the idea by letting Robinson play this year, but he needs to utilize the talent better.

And the rest of the coaching staff is terrible. Ganter's play-calling has been horrible, and the QB coach is Paterno's son...WTF??? Why not get someone with a little more experience in there. No wonder PSU hasn't had a decent QB since Kerry Collins.

By the way, 1998-1999 were decent years for PSU (1999 started #1 in country I think). Should have had the recruiting power then, and those are the guys starting now. Obviously recruiting has not panned out...
