Hi

Looking for opinions on a few sites, no response in the forum so I thought I'd try here.

Anyone play at TruePoker - comments on skill level and number of games?

How about the skill levels at PartyPoker or PokerStars?

Any comments on UltimateBet? Saw some complaints about slow pay.

Thanks as usual.

I trully love Partypoker. Would probably put it at the top of my list. Others that I have tried and recommend are Planetpoker and WSEX.

Have not tried the other ones you mentioned. Have fun and keep your head above water.

Do you like Party just because there is always action? It seems to me to be the lowest quality software.

Ultimatbet is a decent site with decent software.

I dont play ring games at Ultimatebet so i cant share anything with you on that. ¨

they have a regular number tournies each day but sadly the buy ins are very small. Their top tourney is $50 buy in.

Pokerstars has it all, whatever u want tournies or ring games. Also there are way more participnts at tournies at pokerstars. Sunday night $200 NL get as many as 850+ ppl. Normally a first prize around $45k

Would be nice if we could get the rake at all these various places. Also, the hold percentage on the various tournaments.

MT-

PartyPoker is my favorite as well but the software is sub-par. There is ALWAYS action there at any game at any limits you want and they payouts are good.

You must decide what is really important to you.

IMHO, Pokerstars has the best software but some of the toughest games. Someone else mentioned the tourneys and I have played in a few of those. The have the biggest and best big buyin tournaments.

Party's software may not be pretty to look at but I'm there to play poker not to evaluate the software.

I've tried a few other rooms but in my experience Party has the best combination of all the features I look for.

Maybe they do but i guarantee u get better promos at pokerstars. I have been playing there for a year or so and they have offered 8-10 20% bonuses. In top of that u get loyalty points u can spend Buy ins in tournies or u can buy stuff fro mtheir shop, pokerbooks etc ( I got a fine collection and i can thank Pokerstars for that)

I won a seat in a "free" satelitte for WSOOP 2003 worth $1050.

So if i add a bit my guess is that i have received bonuses for app. $2500, not bad is it?

Pokerstars is the place!

From what I've read, the caliber of play at PokerStars is high. And seems like Party has a lot of newbies? Is that accurate?

Also - anyone play at TruePoker? Looks like great software, but I would like to get a feel for the number/quality of games. Thanks everyone for the comments.

Truepoker is in the middle as far as caliber of play.

They ran a pretty good bonus promo abt two months ago and the lake was restocked, but as tney run out of ammo the place has tightened up.

Think UB is a pretty tough joint as far as the player level is concerned.

Party is clearly the current leader in baiting fish, you would have to be brain dead to not win there.

PokerStars ring games are fairly tough, the tournament competition vaires wildy though. I've played in $30 multi's that were extremely tough, but likewise I 've played in $300 ones that were easy earns. It's hard to figure.

BTW

WSEXPoker is continuuing the $1 entry, $40 added single table shootouts into October.

9:00 PM every night, pretty much the best online poker deal going. Put up a buck, beat 9 players and get back $50.

About 50-1 on your money in a 10 horse field, I like those odds and guarantee even I will break even. If I can't play 50 times and win once someone take me out back and shoot me. What sort of limit games are spread afterwards?

Like Swami said I don't care about fancy software, I want the guys I can beat around the table. It starts and stops there.

Hey PM,

The tourneys last abt 45 mins,

they've been getting around 100 players in the ring games in and around the tourneys.

Limits fr like .25/.50 fixed and NL, upto $10/$20 maybe, once in while $30/$60.

I like the software alot, I think it the fastest on the block, I do not like the rake structure a whole lot though, think it is geared towards the higher limit games, but really haven't closely examined it, but it feels heavier than elsewhere.

Inter does a GREAT job getting bad players, I play there alot. A couple of sites including WIllHill feed into the rooms there.

A nice $40 promo every month if you play 250 hands there.

The problems with inter are the software is bad at the very least and the customer service is laughable,`I am convinced not one single person that works there actually has ever played the game. But it's tough to beat the supply of fish there for sure.

Not even close Party poker has taken over the online poker industry. I was on there last night and cannot believe how much it has grown. They had over 17,000 active players playing on late Wed night at 1130pm est.

They had twenty 15/30 hold em's going which all had waiting lists. Amazing!

The best thing I can say is I know about six different people who are cleaning up and getting paid without any problems.

Well your question got some interesting responses. I too like partypoker, but I have since changed to pokerstars because it BY FAR the best tournaments for my type of play.

They have quite a few $300 or $100 entry tournaments that go on all of the time and if you want to play with the big boys, then you can step to the $2000 straight heads up matchup tournaments that run every 10 minutes or so
