I'd take him out right now.

Sorry that you can't get a win by pitching five innings, but you have to take one for the team sometimes.

remember, you have to have a rested bullpen too. going to the pen that early could be dangerous. they are probably better off going by pitch count.

I hear what you are saying, but no way Dusty takes him out until at least the top of 6. For one thing he is down 1 zip in the series, so he is not going to take any chances of the Marlins mounting a comback against, a reliever like, say, Shawn Estes. imho.

Gentlemen,

Lets look at the big picture. Might want to have Pryor fresh if he has to come back on Sunday (Game 5) and Wednessday (Game 7, possibly in relief).

Games over with the wind neutral. Florida is not coming back tonight.

Could put my Grandma in for relief and still win this game.

Reminds me of when that idiot manager for AZ pitched Johnson in Game 6 to get the victory when they were killing the Yankees. He then brought him back in game 7 not completely rested ( luckly things worked out).

No brainer to take him out.

Watch this idiot Baker him in till he gives up a run.

Now he should relieve him in the top of the 6th. Lets see what happens.

Who are you to speak of Baker like this and question his decision making? Baker has won Manager of Year on more than one occasion. He has been to the NLCS game two years in a row with different teams. I need not say anymore.

I just can not stand it when these types of threads are started. Baker is probably more successful than you can ever dream of becoming. So in the future just shut the f@*k up.

Same here Railbird, LOL. I'm glad that dummy(Baker) took out Russ Ortiz out of the game too, If he would have left him in there the Giants would have won the world series.
