I've got the Marlins +175 to win the series.

Anyone have a reason I shouldn't bet the Marlins straight up tonight +210 and simultaneously play the Cubs to win the entire series -130?

If the Marlins win tonight I would be in the driver seat and bagged some cash today. If the Cubs win tonight my -130 will equalize my Marlin's series bet, which is good since the chance of winning that one drops quite a bit.

Yes I am insane...is it a decent hedge?

If you want to hedge, why not just take the Cubs to win the series now? They're -123 at Pinny.

Frankly, I'm shocked thy're -123-125 for the series after down 1-0. I'm only looking at either staying put here or taking advantage of the huge swing the Marlins money will shift if they go up 2-0. By taking Fla tonight +210, I've got my bets paid for and I've got both sides to win the series (assuming an equal new wager on cubs to win series). The cubs are cheaper to win the series right now than they are to win tonight but we know th're hosed if they go down 2-0.
