Very good weekend for sportsbooks!!!

Just got off the phone with two prominent offshore bookmakers and both reported that the weekend was very good to them. In fact, one went as far to say it was the best weekend of the football season for them thus far.

Having reported this, I sincerely hope that a majority, if not everyone here at the RX won or at least survived the weekend. Remember, they play the Star Spangled Banner everyday. Never lose sight of that. Good luck everyone.

True, but they made up 10x that with teasers on Pittsburgh.

good point strut. but, teasers and parlays are almost ALWAYS winning propositions for the books anyway.

Having worked in a sportsbook for 8-9 years, can tell you firsthand that FOUR team teasers/parlays and above have a hold percentage of 20-30%!! One only has to compute the true odds on these plays and one can see why.
