It looks like Mr Bonds, Barry Bonds will get atleast one more shot at the Brass Ring! Your boy is on the team with the best balance in the National League...

Oh its true the Giants are going back to the Series! Maybe this time they can protect that 5 run lead!

Boston vs San Fran or a rematch of the "Earthquake Series"?

And guess who is the sentimental favorite this year? None other than Barry Bonds (sickgambler`s breakfast buddy) who`s dad passed away 3 weeks ago!

I want you to pull back this thread up again after the playoffs. I want you to pay attention to what I am going to say.. BARRY BONDS WILL NEVER WIN A WORLD SERIES. Just remember where you heard this. In life, you have your winners, and you have your losers.. Some people are just not born to be on winning teams. Barry Bonds's presence in any dressing room will never be good for his teammmates, thus not winning anything.

In sports, you always have your winners who consistently win championships. And then you have your losers who NEVER win no matter how good they are.. To name a few...

DAN MARINO
CHARLES BARKLEY
KARL MALONE
JOHN STOCKTON
PATRICK EWING
JIM KELLY

and of course BARRY BONDS falls in this category. No matter how hard Barry tries and no matter how good he is, he will NEVER win. Last year up 5-0 in the 7th and up 3 games to 2, and he chokes. I knew it and so did everyone else.lol

Get ready for the same thing to occur this year. Barry Bonds will choke and not win this year again and will NEVER win a ring. If Barry wins it this year, I will NOT post for the rest of 2003 here at rx, I swear. That's how sure I am..

I don't disagree necessarily but it's a lot easier to say "he will never win a ring" when the guy is 40 years old, LOL. How many shots does he have now? Would you have said it 15 years ago?

BTW on a contest at MW at the beginning of the year I had the Yanks beating SF in 6. It's as good a guess as anything. My dark horse pick is Florida. Good young arms and a lot of speed. Solid team who can create problems if they get in.

I've been calling Barry a loser and a big choker in the playoffs now for a very long time, since the late 80's and early 90's. Ever since he was hitting under his weight every year in post season, is when i realized this guy is a loser and a big choker too. He cannot win. Until last season, he would always choke in post season play by hitting .147 and so on. This is a sign of a player who cannot perform when it is most important to perform.

It looked all but over for the Giants, they let Kent go and a few other smaller pieces to the World Series team, you thought they`d NEVER get back ...Its been rather impressive, considering they dug Grissom from the scrap heap, Cruz Jr. has been solid , the starters are as strong as any, especially with Ponson who has come into his own...They should get to the Series....

Bonds did stink it up when on the Pirates. Couldn't hit his weight in the play-offs. They called him Mr September.

Had a decent middle of the order, Van Slyke-Bonds-Bonilla.

How about grandpa Galarraga. He's a key ingredient for the Giants too. He hit a dinger again tonight and had some big hits last night. He turned out to be a great addition too.

Another reason for you to be pulling for the Baseball GMEN! The Ex-Spo, surely you`d like to see Andres get a ring after all his adversity?

The Big Cat is one of my all time favorite expos. He is the most loved spo ever. He is so nice, and a real gentleman. Believe it or not, I am really cheering for the Giants to win for so many reasons. Kirk Rueter, Andres Galarraga, Marquis Grissom, Dustin Hermanson, Matt Herges, are all ex expos which is a reason to cheer for them. Plus, I would love to see Felipe Alou the most popular expo manager of all time win a world series. And most of all, i would like to see my buddy Barry win one for himself and for his dad in heaven. It will be a great site to watch Barry blow up in tears in the post game interview and look up to the sky and say, this one's for you dad.. Millions will cry seeing this, and will be great for baseball in general. But I can't cheer for them anymore because if the Giants win, I am done posting here till 2004, and I will be depressed not posting anymore..

Yes indeed many former Expos...Grissom is playing better than he has since his Cleveland days! Alou has always gotten the most from his teams, no surprise this team would have won 100 games with Barry all year...they will be tough but anything can happen in a short series....I`d love to see Fla and Chi as well, the Braves would have the worst pitching for sure with those teams...Well not counting the Cubs pen,lol...

"Bud Selig Special"....Twins vs Fla (LOL)
