They may be the all time chokers of baseball, but they sure do play memorable playoff games...that game last night was one of the more entertaining playoff games we`ve seen lately....

Boston has its work cut out now and will have to do something no team has ever done in postseason....

The team that has lost the first game in extra innings has NEVER won the series...

I am sure all of Boston is somber this morning, their season is all but over! Yes its one game but the momentum and history says so...

You can add reliever KIM, to the long list of infamous Red Sox playoff performers...

Kim gets the 'Buckner Award' for his performance, what a post season bum this guy is!

And now they throw out Wakefield... what happened to that late season acquisition of boy wonder Epstein? Where's Suppan? Isn't that bullpen now shored up? That's what the so called experts were saying.

Kim should have been allowed to finish the ****ing inning. It was as much Grady's fault as Kim's

Mitch "wild thing" Williams, lost 2 world series games for the Phillies against Toronto. He was the closer. Absolutely the worst post season ever by a pitcher.

I don't think Little should have pulled Kim and I also didn't like the intentional walks in the 12th.

Tough game but did enjoy the interference call to end the 10th, I think it was. Somewhere Carlton Fisk was saying "How come I didn't get that call against Ed Armbrister back in 75?"

Why Wakefield??? I know Strut thinks he`s a borderline Hall of Famer but come on , he is not a number two starter... MANNY IS STINKING IT UP!

Its almost time to get the fork out, they are close to being done! Wow they really are giving it to Oakland... Maybe that offense can explode like Fla. yesterday....This is basically an elimination game for them...

All of Boston must be saying "I told ya so"

Homedog,

As a lifeline Sox fan, I wouldn't be surprised if the Sox win the next 2 and then in Game 5 take a lead against Oakland and then lose it late. I'd say they're good for a few more stomach chruns before it's over.

Shoot, I can do you one better MUDBONE. The Red Sox have had their great moments PRECEDING game 7 of the WS. I can see them coming back and winning this series......but I can never trully imagine then winning it all.

You're probably right now that I think about all those late night extra inning dramas they had back in 85 against the Angels before they even got to the Series.

Time to get some more Alka Seltzer.
