Funny you ask this as Strutt and I talked about this last night before the game. If Oakland lost I put them at -140/145 tonight.

Patrick...Yea...I ask this because when I opened my lines this morning I was pretty surprised to see Zito as such a small favorite at home. I figure its so low because everyone is on Boston to even up the series, like all the others. I don't buy into it. Zito --127 at home, not against Pedro, is very nice value.

I tend to agree with you. Had Boston won the thought would be they have got to win to even the series. Not like the A's are going to lay down now for game two though. In the regular season this would be much higher IMO.

Zito -127 over Wakefield at home? I'll take it. (Hope Fishhead doesn't read this)

Right or wrong a line in game 2 is always shaded towards the team that lost game 1, even in Baskets a 7pt fav in game 1 becomes a 5.5-6pt fav if they won game 1.
