Rush Limbaugh, RESIGNS! Would have been canned anyway!

His tenure as an analyst at ESPN lasted one month..Limbaugh decided it best to resign, I am sure he was forced to resign or be fired...The comments reminded me of Jimmy The Greek, Al Campanis, and Howard Cosell...But Limbaugh denied any racial meaning to his comments...

I never understood why ESPN wanted him in the first place. I`m sure Michael Irvin and Tom Jackson were fuming inside for his racial shot at the Black QB in general, and wanted is ass canned!

Also reported today Limbaugh being investigated for illegal purchasing of prescription pain killers....Say it aint so Rush!?LOL, Good riddance!

His comments sure pissed off that guy on espn sunday countdown..Its too bad with all that plastice surgery Rush had he might have made a good analyst.

Why does anyone care if McNabb is black or white or turquoise? The Eagles are 1-2 so there's plenty of blame to go around.

USA today article indicated that the countdown show had its highest ratings last week. Doesn't make it right. people like to tune in for the car crashes and train wrecks.

Rush goes down as one of worst television sports journalists of all time, right there with Eric Dickerson, Lisa Guerrero and Dennis Miller. They brought him in to stir up controversy so he came up with the asinine theory that there's a media bias that wants to see McNabb do well because he's black but can't won't name anybody in the media that says that. What a joke. It pains me to even mention a class guy like McNabb and Limbaugh in the same sentence.

Oh jeez, Rush has been following our lead for betting complaints on losing games and/or money based on color of the starting quarterback. That's one reason why most of the big bettors loath NBA bc of their playground mentality.

Whether McNabb is black, white, purple or yellow, Rush hit it right on the head when he said "The Eagles defense carried the team."

The rest of what he said was ill-advised and he will now have to suffer the consequences.

Doug Williams proved many years ago that a black QB is acceptable when he won the Super Bowl many years ago. Complaining about black quarterbacks is code for "Blacks are not smart enough to play quarterback." This canard has been disproved at all levels numerous times, and to even bring it up is rascist.

Ok, I just read about the Rush situation, and don't get me wrong - I hate Limbaugh (just ask the Neo-cons), but I don't think his remarks were racist. It sounded to me like he was calling the media reverse-racists & didn't say anything hateful towards any group.

I don't see why those remarks were blown up like this.

Limbaugh is no better than a televangelist, big f*cking act! I wanted to throw up when I read he was coming to ESPN, what a damn hypocrite....I also heard these drugs can cause severe hearing loss, CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW? Rush suffered with hearing loss the past few years....

As for McNabb he does seem too heavy , he looks too bulky and is definitely not as quick....

I have never been a fan of the black style quarterback, this is NOT a racist remark, but all black QB`s are runners first and then passers, not true pocket passers....Its not a matter of whether they have the intelligence to QB, its more the athleticism they bring to the position...That type of quarterback is more reactive to adlib and differ from the play called...That is more the reason than anything....Any QB black, white or whatever that plays that brand of quarterback will have problems over the long haul...

No different at WR and RB, the speed and super quickness is with the black players, its not racist its fact... I`ll take a pocket passer any day....Hopefully no one is offended by what I just said...

Jman you're right. That's why Seneca Wallace was a heisman candidate, but never has a prayer of being a great NFL QB - he runs THEN throws. The defenders are just too damn fast in the NFL.

I`m watching more about Limbaugh, they`re reporting he would pop 100 pills a day!! Either he was in a great deal of pain or he just doesn`t care about his life, thats a sure fire way to cause permanent brain damage, the things people put in their body, its amazing...No wonder the man couldn`t hear...He will spin it just like he always does....What a clown ( a rich one), no different than Jim Baker...
