ABOUT SPORTSBOOK.COM

Once, they froze my account because I had ALLEDGELY "taken back" $330 in action 3 years ago. I had no way of proving that this was not the case because I didn't even remember the transaction.

My total handle with Sportsbook was probably well over $100,000 at that time, and I kept telling them that if I was going to scam them, why would I do it for $330??? Wouldn't I do it for $3,000? I have received (as comps) a blue sports bag and a brown leather bag from them as well - I am not the type of person that is going to pull back a $330 wager and I told them as much.

I wasn't given the benefit of the doubt, and all I could do was say that I would NEVER do something like that. I told them I would give them my handle at other books like Grande, WSEX and the rest for them to check if I had ever done that with anyone else, because a guy that pulls back a measly $330 is also going to try it at other books too - but NO - they were going to freeze my account and I couldn't do jack shit about it.

I have never sent Sportsbook.com another penny since because, frankly, I don't trust them anymore. They wouldn't listen to me and they had no intention of asking around about me - they were freezing my account and I couldn't do anything about it ... and all I can do about it now is NEVER send them another dime.

This is'nt the 1st time I have heard this complaint! Their CS is more focused on finding the potential "scammer" then providing a business relationship, always has been this way, excuses not to pay, so sly and innovative-not!

Oh yeah, they have all their bases covered, one thing they are is shred! They have nothing but contempt for these forums but they still keep their "noses" in to protect their "asses"!

They're a mess. They double billed my card on 3 deposits earlier this year...I gave them the option of crediting my account OR the card. Took them 4 weeks to get around to crediting the account.

Sportsbook.com and all there sister sites take fraud very seriously and considering there customer base they should.

Because of the amount and the way you worded it, it sounds like a WU pulled after the money went in your account. I could be wrong.

For starters--One MUST wonder why it is that a certain group of books have a step to change dollars to "v-chips".

Hey this is not a brick and mortar casino. Hello this is cyberspace. But their claim to do it "like in a casino"--only makes me wonder why. And I have a theory as to why, but will only say that it's put in as some type of player deterrent!

It sure seems that way. They always have some half baked reason for not sending your money out right away. They always end up paying but they sure like to make it a slow and agonizing process. After the third time I just took my business somewhere else, and I'm glad I did.

I've heard all the books in this group operate the same way.

Ninja, Exactly, I get the distinct feeling they look at all "their" players as the enemy, unless you lose all the time and give them tons of money like that is their right as bookies!

Sportsbook.com has issues - slowly, their customer base will erode and it's only a matter of time. There are books (BoDog, BetPanam etc.) that are aggressively seeking new punters, yet sportsbook.com can't even keep the ones they already have.

I've had an account with them for about 4 years now. Once it took 3 months for a withdrawal and they disabled my account in the meantime. I couldn't even look at my account history and whenever I called I was told the accounting department was either closed, busy, or whatever. They eventually gave me the name of someone and to talk to her I had to wait on hold for half an hour sometimes, paying long distance charges all the while. It's amazing how many clerks don't know that 800 numbers are only toll free from North America and can cost a pretty penny from some other places.

And when they finally do pay out, it's usually by check which takes a long time to clear. In fact, twice it happened that their check even bounced. Each time they apologized, sent another one, paid the fees etc., but who needs the headache!?

Apparently they have just recently discovered the Neteller phenomenon and I'd be curious if they are actually capable of prompt payouts using that method, but somehow I think it's not a good idea to hold one's breath while waiting for a payout by any method from these slowpokes.

Beware Darryl, Jay is going to come in here and call you a scammer! They are certainly lucky to have a great customer like you; even after all that garbage you have stayed with them, your a more patient and forgiving person than I will ever be.
