I couldnt believe my eyes when i saw the braves -130 so i emptied my balance on them but now think that may be a sucker bet. I thought it would be along the lines of -200..any thoughts?

I do not think it is a sucker bet. The only reason why it is low is because of Chicago's pitching. Wood and Prior have been pitching very well lately, while Zambrano and Clement have been up and down. Prior will only pitch once and I think Atlanta's offense will be able to score some runs against the Cubs. Other than Sosa, the Cubs offense is pathetic and if the Smoltz is back to normal, I love the Braves for the series. Good Luck.

Ho hum, another postseason where the braves choke. At least in the past they had the starting pitching to make it to the world series and you could make money on some of their early playoff series. The line is an obvious indication of how tight this first round could be and it doesnt even seem like the fans are as into them as in the past.
