Say you just took the book for a 3 dimes and you want to make a withdrawal.

Do you:

A. Request the full amount (3000)
B. Request half the amount (1500)
C. Request 1 dime
D. Request 1 nickel

I would love to hear some responses from the people who have taken out this sort of money from their book.

Thanx

MC,

If you're with a real book ask for whatever in the hell you want... IT IS YOUR $$$

MC-It is obviously a personal preference. If you like the book and want to continue wagering, leave some money in the account. If you feel the book is shaky, take it all out and move to another facility.

I like the book alot. That wasn't the point of the question. Some places if you ask for a huge withdrawal, they may not give it to you.

If they wont give it to you, your playing with a bad book. Its your money and you should be able to take out as little as you want and as much as you want. Bottomline its your money. I would like to hear the name of the book what might not give it all to you.

Madcapper, you obviously are not playing with the top books. 3 dimes is nothing.

MC,
It depends on the book.
If I took, say SIA, I would only leave a dime or two. If I took BetOnSports I would say 10 Hail Marys and request it all.
If I took Grande, Pinn, CRIS, Holly, BlueGrass, BlueMarlin, Sirbet, VIP, Panam, Oly, or Canbet then I'd probably leave it all until I really needed the money or decided to walk away ahead.

What are you? poor? take what you want and leave some to continue betting with. If you seriously ask a question like this I suggest you take out all the money and then talk the rest of your life about how you "took" an offshore book for "real" money.

Mad - it's not a dumb question. As others said it is your money, take what you want. Just as important is to leave only what you feel comfortable with. If you are young and 3k represents a large % of your bankroll then it is best to not leave much there. What's huge to you may not be huge to others and vice versa. As a general rule I try and not leave more than about 8% in any post up book at any time.

BTW if any book blinks their eye at this amount then you are in the wrong book. Get it all out and don't look back.

Just to clarify...

This question was not for myself. It's for people who have juist started offshore and perhaps they did not do such great research and have signed up with a not so safe book.

As for myself, I never win, so I will never have this type of problem.

No problem. You ask any question you want. Tell them to ask here about books before they send out money and they will be ahead of the game.

BTW what do you mean you never win? How'd you do in baseball this year?
