I've never heard of these guys. How did they get invited to the contest? I caught the last 10 minutes of the show, Lee Sterling sounded like an infomercial. The radio host made a mistake in asking him if there was # people could reach him at. The guy went on and on about his internet site and everything else about his tout service.

Mr. Sims - I go to the Stardust contest from time to time and this was the first time I was thouroughly impressed by a handicapper. Kevin O'Neil was O.K. but Lee Sterling stole the show. I was standing next to a sports service owner and a certain wise guy who I won't mention and both guys told me during one of the breaks that Lee is very good and one of the few sports services who wins and doesn't cheat his clients. The host John Kelly wanted Lee to expand on his strategy and how people can contact him because he sensed that the audience was into listening to Lee . Good luck to both handicappers on their plays. Lee seems to be that right blend of knowing the game inside and out and winning for his clients. I am pulling for him to win so I can see him later in the contest. Mr. Sims , do you live in Las Vegas or ever go to the contest? If you do, let me know and I'll meet you down there sometime.

o'neill went 3-0 on saturday - helped out by the miracle cincy u cover - and looks to be in great shape

sterling is in HUGE trouble - going 2-4 on the day.

o'neil can now do no worse than tie - since even if he finishes 3-4 both would have lost their BB.

so - it looks really good for o'neil to advance - although as we know by now - NOTHING is a "sure thing."

Yep, winky, O'Neill's magic number is 1 -- just needs to win (or push) just 1 of his four plays or have Sterling lose (or push) on Ravens +3, though I have the Ravens so I hope that doesn't happen.

Kevin O'Neill went a perfect 7-0...granted, he caught a few late breaks (Cincy backdoor cover/Texans getting win on last play of regulation/etc.) but very very impressive showing.

Lee Sterling finished 2-5.

crabby, I live in Henderson. I never have been to the Stardust while the contestants were giving their plays on the air. I can't believe I was the only one who thought Lee Sterling went on and on at the end of the show leaving no time for Kevin O'Neil. Maybe Lee Sterling knew he would not be back!

I don't think Sterling had ever been there before so I think you should cut the guy some slack. He seemed to understand the game real well. You and I know that anything can happen in a one week seven game showdown. After hearing the one hour show I thought Sterling sounded better and I liked his games better. I was way off. Next time O'Neil could sound better and he could lose. All in all I thought it was a good show. If you listened to the whole show you had to be impressed by Sterling's breakdowns of the games. O'Neil went more with feel on games, which he admitted and sometimes that is the better way. I liked both guests on Friday and would love to hear more of both in the future. I bet O'Neil will feel the pressure the next time he's on the show with his picks but I'm hoping he does well.
