In these last few days there have been several comments over one of Royal Sports rules. Royal Sports has been obliged, for auditing purposes, to screen its escrow account this past month of July.

During this screening 2 different categories of dormant accounts have been identified : the first is related to promotional bonuses given out throughout the years but never utilized by players. These bonuses, for a total amount of approximately $ 30,000.—have been removed, as related promotional campaigns have expired since 12 months.

A second group of dormant accounts, namely 43 accounts for a total amount of approximately $ 52,000.-- has been removed from the wagering system and placed into a separate accountancy . These dormant accounts had had no activity since January 1st 2001.

We have tried to contact these customers and succeeded in 15 cases. Remaining 28 account balances are indeed booked in a separate sheet and will be reactivated upon request. However, information supplied by players has not allowed us to get in touch with them so far.

Good luck on the continued improvements that you have been making at Royal....thanks again also for coming to the forum here and explaining the current situation with the doormat accounts. Dont be a stranger. I am sure the posters here would love to keep hearing from you.

Thanks for clearing that issue up. There have also been rumors of slow pay, would you like to address that too? I have no real opinion of Royal before, or after the management change. It bugs me though that a certain someone seem to be abusing his...Ahem, journalistic clout, to smear Royal. If you ran front page stories about every offshore operator who dated...or slept with an employee you'd need glasses by the time you finished reading. Why exactly is this news? Slow pay is news. The bedroom stuff is just vendetta journalism, and makes the writer look petty, and unprofessional.

A website has posted several "news" about Royal Sports, such as :

a)Royal Sports doesn't have book to book transfer agreements with Pinnacle. This is false, since Royal Sports does have book to book transfer agreements with Pinnacle ;

b) Royal Sports has no lineman. This is false since Adam Amato has been replaced by Iring since July 2nd 2003 ;

c) Royal Sports is not paying its employees ; This is false as all employees are paid on time ;

d) Royal Sports Agents are not being paid. False, as our agents are being paid on weekly basis whereas in the past ( prior to July 2003 ) they had always been paid on monthly basis ;

e) Players are being slowpaid. False : neteller, w.u. , prepaidatm are being processed with a max delay of 2 hours ( neteller, prepaidatm ), same day if request is prior to 1 pm eastern ( w.u. ).

Royal Sports has decided not to comment these posts as we rather prove ourselves with facts instead of words.

Dont be so quick to think everything is fine at royal. It was only 5 weeks ago that royal managment was bullshiting me and not answering the phone when I called and lieing about sending me MY money. They had to be forced to pay me. If it wasnt for the postings alerting everyone that they were being assholes at royal, Im not sure I would have ever gotten paid. I only know they acted like dickheads and they will do it again as soon as they burn thru the new money they have recieved. They thought it was funny when they had my money tied up for 3 weeks in august. They had my money and didnt think I could do anything about it.
Who's laughing now royal?

We have honestly disclosed having experienced some delays during the month of July. However no customer has been given the run around nor we have ever not answered or not returned calls.

If a book has been around for a long time with a honest record of paying (which Royal has) why does everyone jump on them - I cannot think of one book that has a long career that all of a sudden started scamming; Aces Gold, NAB, etc. - none of them had over 5 years in business - their owners got into this with the mindset that if anything goes wrong we'll just steal all the post up - it was part of their plan - don't think otherwise - in my opinion any book that has been around 5+ years is 500X more trustworthy than any book that opened in the last two years (with Bet Jamaica being the exception because they are clearly an offspring of Olympic). Royal could still be considered a pioneer book and no one can say they are owed any money by them. Find a book that has gone through a hard finacial time and if all the customers are paid then you at least know the books has honest intentions and that is worth more weight then anything.

why did you limit your parlays to a nickle max?

and can you catagorically deny that you:

-for weeks after Scotty left told at least 5 individuals that Scotty was "on the phone" or "in a meeting"?

-now have a Scotty and a Victor there all of the sudden Scotty Jameson as opposed to Scotty Johnson, who uses scottyj@betroyal.com as his email like the REAL Scotty J used to have?

We have analyzed the average bet size on parlays and noticed that it was much lower than a nickle. As Royal Sports is trying to widen its customer base in the recreational segment we felt appropriate to cap parlays to a nickel.

As per your other questions : as you are aware you did write a mail to management about the same issues a while ago.

I have personally listened to our cs tape and can confirm that after July 4th ( the day Scotty Johnson left ) our cs representatives have not given such info to the public. However, as you have noticed Royal Sports has indeed retained the services of a new salesman who's name is Scotty Jansen. This was purely coincidental.

No, Dandy doesnt need to callroyal sports. I sent money to royal in may and bet baseball all summer long.
In july I requested to make a withdrawl that amounted to 25% of the money in my account. Royal chose not to send it to me. First they said they sent a check. After 3 days I called and they insisted I send a photocopy of my driver license. There was no reason for this other than to stall. They gave me no bonus and I rolled over about 30 times anyway. 3 days later they said again that they sent a check but they didnt have the tracking number to fedex. More bullshit! After 3 weeks, finally a check arrives. Thruout the 3 weeks there was much talk of Someone buying them out but it fell thru. It didnt look good for getting payed.Anyone who has been slowed payed or stiffed knows the feeling. Now I decided to withdraw the balance and again 3 weeks after lots of bullshit. If they had sent me the first check right away, I probly would have lost the balance and there would have been no problem.
Royal sports and others should understand that money on account is MY money. Not yours to spend on marketing and wages and costa rican whores. Hopefully in the future when someone requests a withdrawl from royal, they will get off thier asses and IMMEDIATLY send out the check.
